@@damienpugh1777no because vegeta has long recognized Goku as a great warrior he stated it in the buu arc. This was probably since he knows how fast goku can grow in strength to not only beat him one side for most of the tournament but when Goku made his break through he still was able to fight on par with Goku. That was something vegeta probably never would have ingrained that someone could be that strong outside of GoD and angels

@@fanner-qy1tj Jiren is scared to build a connection with others. When he was little his loved ones were taken from him, and then again when he got older. So now he is too scared to make a connection and tries to do everything on his own. Goku wants him to believe in that connection again.

I get chills when Vegeta calls him an incredible warrior. Vegeta is my favourite character and seeing him drop his pride and praise someone else is quite remarkable, considering his character.

Wow how cool, the universe being observed outside of its bounds is beautiful, now ik this is just a show, but imagine being outside space and time and being able to observe every galaxy to ever exist. That would be beautiful creation is so complex and beautiful praise the lord for how complex things are and how they function in harmony.
I love Universe 11, and the entirety of the tournament arc, there is genuinely a lot of emotion in that story, even if it wasn't explored all that well, I can't wait to see them again.
I've got a possibly unpopular opinion here. I believe the fight against Jiren was the best when it comes to animation and choreography. I think the MOMENTS were better and more emotionally driven in the fights against Frieza and Cell. Personally, it's a coin toss for me between Goku going Super Saiyan or Gohan going Super Saiyan 2. I will watch those MOMENTS and a little before and after. If I have to choose to watch an entire fight though, it's TOP for me.
Toppo became my fav character in all DBL when I saw how menacing and kind hearted he is towards his “family” Edit: meant to say DB instead of DBL been playing too much DBL😂

it's hard to take any goku conversation seriously considering the absolute absurdity of the antagonist "losing" after winning for 99.9% of the fight but plot armor turns goku magically alive after any scene
Idk why... i feel like jiren...but without the power... cant trust anyone... have a hard time being around others afraid of ending up like others like i have before that i enjoy my own peace without anyone around me... and even if i have to be around others... i focus on what i need to do thats priorities... 💯💯💯
Its actually pretry interesting that Jiren is the path Goku could've taken. At the start of Super when Goku got SSG he hated it. He wanted to earn that strength by himself, but as super went on he learnt to trust his friends again and get stronger together. He learnt the value of rivalry and got pushed by Vegeta to always improve and improve and even at his peak with MUI, it was a culmination of everything. The work he put in, the bonds he made and his spirit as both a saiyan and an earthling. That's why Jiren is much stronger now than he ever was in the ToP. Hes on the path to learn how to connect with others. To trust others. And he has one of the best rivals in Toppo, a destroyer in training. I cant wait to see this incredible warrior again.
I really did cry at the end of this arc cuz it finally hit me that it was the end of dbz for a long time. Hopefully they animate the manga in my lifetime
Toppo is a good friend and probably the only things close to it that jiren has in his life, toppo is also the one that motivated jiren keep fighting and i wish that they become true friends even in jiren's mind
People talking about Jiren which is good and true and all, but they miss the fact on what Goku represents. Goku represents a real friend that can bring the best out of you and wants you to know you're never alone even though he's not mushy about it. He hated that Jiren felt the way he did about life.
Especially because Goku once felt the same. His very first form in Super was the form Goku hated most. Super saiyan god. A form Goku's friends helped him achieve, but all Goku saw then was that he couldn't achieve it on his own and throughout Super he relearn the value of trust
I could never really tell who Vegeta was talking about at the end there and for me it makes the scene so much better. With Goku standing in the middle of his view he could’ve been talking about Jiren or he could’ve been referencing Goku hitting ultra instinct. Idk just me
I really think that it's a double entendre. He is praising both Goku and Jiren, but the way that he says it while the next shot shows Goku's back gives Vegeta enough plausible deniability to not make it look like he's praising his greatest rival cause you know -Vegeta's huge ego. That being said, Vegeta's ego definitely did crack at times. Vegeta did entrust everything to Goku during that last fight by accepting defeat and passing the last bit of energy Vegeta had to Goku. Then Vegeta would watch and command from the stands like how a King would his greatest Champion.
