The side missions are very important. For instance the flame gun mission is highly important because with the flame gun you'll be able to slow Charles down and it makes your situation easier. Also, fully max out your armour you'll need it so your train can withstand damage

More side missions pls! It will make the final fight scene easier too because you will have maximum upgrades with lots of scraps to spare, and you will get really helpful weapons, like that rocket launcher! There are useful weapons! There is so much more to explore Goku!

The side missions are almost as important as the requiered missions. Especialy the ones involving the rocket luncher and the other gun, that is if you want to beat charles easier. tip:try switchig between guns during the final battle since they deal differnt amounts of damage.
