@@lmaobox4068the unit itself is pretty good but his standby and revival are pretty mid and hard to get. Most likely you’ll get another units revive first (and one that has more use at that)
@@angelis1123 Well combos didn't work because dude was overpowered with red potora (probably), so you could only spam if you wanted a fast win especially if you played in hard mode like i did back in the days.
Should we have Goku teen because they give it to Goku early in dragon ball Budokai Tenkaichi 3 I wish they made another Goku like the teen version that fight piccolo jr.
Honestly they should made have a GOOD dodging systeme insted just *PRESS O WHEN THE ENEMY IS ATTACKING YOU* and a make enemy have a weak point or different strategy to beat em and not just SPAM EVERY ATTACK YOU DONT THINK JUST DO IT

He really did and I’m glad somebody else pointed this out. That obvious vocal restraint in his delivery and the slight voice crack in Goku’s voice was prime voice acting.
He did. But then again, he's been the voice of Goku for years now. So I'm not surprised that he did well with Goku here. 😊 I feel like Kakarot and Burst Limit are some of his best performances in the games. ❤
1:54 This is Prime Martial Artist Goku! I consider this Goku (World Champ) as the prime Martial Artist Version of himself. Sure he did got billions of times stronger after that, but the way he fought in this tournament was unmatched for me. His technics were prime. Even things like Kamehameha from his feet, his combos and many other things. I think this version of him is very underrated. After that everything become about Powerlevel & Transformations and he did regress in many martial artist areas as Master Roshi Mentions it in the tournament of Power (only Mangaversion).
@@Willzb-xk4ewIm gonna go on a whim and say you hate super so much you only watched it through youtube. Super goku was able to attack hit even in base through watching vegeta fight him. Seriously, that argument is only alive because people hate the show so much they forgot what actually happens in it and only remembers the dumb moments. ( im not a super fangay. I just dont think its as bad as people think it is).
@@Grimmys he is noticeably more stupid in super (especially compared to Z) but at the very least DBS didn’t mess up his Battle IQ, As he outsmarts his opponents multiple times throughout the show

Goku was a genius in every fightting related stuff in DBZ/DB he knew how to properly train,move,fight,use KI and much more DBS goku feels like the stupid guy with the right connections and not him being the smart guy with good conections he always was,the super manga (who is better than the anime) making him so bad master roshi had to teach him something he learned and kept up until start of Z shows how Akira toryama forgot how goku works, he even sacrificed goku to make vegeta look better in the broly arc manga/movie with the meditation scene.
1:52 Wow It's amazing how much detail the scene has, going from the deadpan characters in Tenkaichi 3 to this is so exciting, I just hope this move is included in Tenkaichi 4 because it was one of my favorite techniques in the game, also that they add the 23rd tournament arc in the story mode
What Kakarot gets right that the others don't is the importance of the impact on that gut punch. They just need to linger on it a bit more to sell it. Otherwise, it just gets lost in the rest of the attack. Its the most impactful hit in the whole combo it needs to feel like it.

@@josh_miester_x511 dbz kakarot is basically teasing us at this point, we can ride the nimbus, we played as kid goku, it even proved that it can do grounded battles. We have the recipe for an actual dragon ball game
@@endoskel9262 Goku even starts off the game with his Rock Paper Scissor moves. Like, C'MON! I wanna play as Kid Goku, swing around the Power Pole, and meet Young Bulma, Bandit Yamcha, Young Killin, and fight Red Ribbon.
just give us the whole OG series as DLC they can clearly do ground combat, there's no argument I have to say it has to be another game, I'd glady drop $20-30 for OG dragon ball.
I really hope that Goku from the saiyan saga in Tenkaichi 4 has this red gi and attack even if the Kaioken attack against Nappa has to be removed, meteor combination its much cooler. It was so odd that it was given to Namek Goku in tenkaichi 3

I remember seeing the Meteor Combination the first time in OG Dragonball. Dear god. The sheer power of that gut punch still makes me cringe. Like it was so hard that Piccolo just fell over. No gasping. No reflex. Just fell over and could not move for the follow up Kamehameha. Such a great move.

I could be wrong but they probably implemented grounded combat so that the tournament of power could be done correctly. Hopefully that’s the case though
Oh that move was from the dragon ball series since I grew up playing dbz games wondered why I loved that meteor combination, as I saw this explained everything lol. ❤
What I really love about the last two DB games, Kakarot and FighterZ, is how fluid they move and almost exactly imitate the show. Even here in Kakarot, if you had told me they remade the show in 3D, I would believe you. I really hope they have that same level of fluidity with the next game.
It’s cool to see this move in the fighting games since I first saw it in Attack of the Sayians where it is my favorite move from that game. Even funnier when I learned it was just a made up move but from the fight with Piccolo Jr
Unpopular opinion end of Dragon Ball Goku deserves more or the same recognition as Kid Goku and should be included in games like Budokai 4 and Dragon ball Legends
I love the way DBZ Kakarot re design this story. I remember to read the manga of this scene, and it look exactly the same as the manga. Goku expression, goku hair move, love it!
You should now show db nexus. It also has the meteor combination and it is so damn impressive and the gut punch feels impactful asf, with that camera shake and stance. Ofcourse the enemy flies away but the character stands in the gut punch position long enough to sell the impact.
Dragon Ball Raging Blast 2 was perfect aside from its small character roster I had so much fun with that one never played another DB game that I loved as much as that one DBT2 was my 2nd and Budokai was my 3rd and sagas is 4th
1:40 the sound effects like the kamehameha don't sound, I don't know if it happens to others with the dlc in my case only the screams of goku and piccolo sound but the blows do not sound, I play on Xbox Series X
