Kratos is only as powerful as he is motivated to be, Goku's power is the direct result of his motivation to constantly improve and grow. Sure, DBS Goku is extremely impressive, but the most powerful version of Goku is able to supercede *fictional reality*, and interact with our own. I'm not kidding. 4D Movie Goku is busted.

@@bream1755 The problem with these comparisons to me is that no one seems to talk about if the two characters were just trying to kill each other as quickly as possible after bumping into each other, how many people actually stand a chance against the fact that DBZ characters have been moving faster than the concept of speed itself since after radditz died. So what reaction times would most people coming up against any of the strong DBZ characters be able to do before it already happened? And that isn't taking into consideration that they just blow up planets with ease by the time the first arc ended. Like i really can't imagine kratos having the time to do anything even if he could.

If we think logically Kratos stands no chance against Goku. Goku has multiple transformations that make him billions of times stronger , can shoot and manipulate ki and can even destroy entire planets. Kratos weapons and magic attacks won't do any good if your opponent is faster and stronger than you and I doubt that Kratos weapons would even hurt Goku since Goku has a very tough skin. A simple thing to prove thing that Kratos is no much for Goku , if you GOW 2018 and entered Tyr temple , you would find traps and spikes and these spikes can kill you while Cell Saga Goku while confronting Mercenary Tao , he was shot by hundreds of arrows and never had any damage.

I don't get some of these Kratos scalings. Kratos said in the recent GoW games that he doesn't have access to all of gear from the first 3 games. Using his old gear in scaling feels off.
True, but that’s why he talks almost exclusively about GOW 3. Gow 3 Kratos has more abilities, while Gow 4 Kratos relies only on leviathan axe, blades of chaos, and brute strength.

I don't see how Kratos could ever beat Saitama tho tbh, especially after the new chapters. In terms of speed, Kratos obviously loses, he's fast but slower than a bullet, whereas Saitama literally traveled across the solar system with a single fart, and jumped to the moon with a jump. In terms of strength, Kratos struggles with a bear... even if he's holding back I don't think he can blow up Mount Everest with a single punch, while Saitama literally destroyed Jupiter with an accidental sneeze. In terms of durability, Kratos also loses, as he could be killed in a variety of ways, for example, his neck snapped by Freya, while Saitama is able to survive dead space, the sun, and the destruction of planets without a scratch. In terms of powers and hacks, Saitama wins again. He can literally time travel, holds the power of toon force (can literally grab space portals), and has the power to infinitely grow stronger and adapt whenever. So although I'm a fan of Kratos, I just don't see how he 'soloes' Saitama verse. He beats most monsters of course, but might lose to the ones that can literally blow up the world with a single attack.

I for once honestly agree and what u said at the end that it was a highball was what i was thinking too and also think that with lowballing goku is weak and kratos is strong but with highballing goku on another lvl and kratos doesn't grow as much as goku (obviously not weak but in comparison he is weak).

Regarding kid buu being the strongest buu, it is correct. But buuhan isn't just buu he's techinicaly a fusion. Also Koyama confirmed buuhan is the strongest buu

Honestly i kinda miss the approach of these older videos where Divine and Kazi would actually look into and examine the feats of the characters they're scaling instead of just recapping the story for most of the video and then reaching the conclusion with barely any feats shown
Are we just going to ignore that at the end of gow3 zeus’ astral form came out which was wielding the concept of fear itself against Kratos. Kratos still managed to beat him using his powers of hope. He literally killed a concept. Goku even in CUI could never destroy a concept. He can destroy universes, but conceptual manipulation is simply a far bigger feat to accomplish.

i honestly do believe that it can be a close fight but ultimately it will come down to who seizes the opportunity to win at the best moment goku may be able to counter some of the things kratos does but even while fighting he is naive at alot of moments in the story where as kratos doesnt fuck around and gets the job done instead of allowing the person hes fighting against to power up or use a technique that can endanger them but at times goku also seizes the chance to win when u least expect it like if kratos has the claws of hades to rip gokus soul out i feel he would be too in awe to figure out whats going on and counter it in time but i feel with gokus arsenal of techniques he can catch kratos off guard and beat him we have to remember as well kratos cant fly unless he has those wings and even then its a far inferior version of flight compared to what goku can do so therotically goku can just ki spam in the sky in a spot where kratos cant climb to get him and kratos wont be able to attack goku much

Cory barlog expained that Kratos's rage level is limitless and it increases his strength, speed and durability. And in gow 4 and Ragnarök Kratos has learned to control his rage, so he can actively have inf (striking/punching) strength, speed and durability. And im talking about the Spartan rage.

I know this video is a year old but I wish you put the Power of Hope, in kratos’s scaling I feel like it can turn the tide I would argue it alone is high outer to - boundless.
Gameplay makes boss fights which in lore would be easy for Kratos difficult for players. The games would be boring if we just destroyed everything without being damaged. You can’t say someone’s weak because of gameplay 😂
If we're using the Anime then it could be a bit closer than most people think since both Anime Goku and Kratos have performed 5 to 6D feats with their pure strength alone, Goku would still win though due to his early feats from the beginning of Super and his speed feats that completely outclass Kratos in every way

the hakai has a limit, goku withstood the hakai from frieza due to it being a weak hakai, kratos has more insane feats than goku so i think he'd end up slaying or defeating goku.
There is always the common misconception that kid buu is the strongest version but that’s not true. He was the most dangerous and evil version. Buuhan was the most powerful but he had some restraint which kid buu lacked.

Kratos takes BIQ, as the God of War, he knows all forms of combat. Kratos takes AP and DC for obvious reasons. Speed goes to Kratos, Goku is like at MFTL.
