For those that are saying “this single guy is better than entire animation studios” or “animation studios should hire this guy the quality of their work would be so much better” you need to remember that in most cases poor animation quality is usually due to animators being rushed, being underpaid, and forced to work unreasonable hours by their superiors. The reason why this guy’s animations are so good is because he’s not being rushed and is allowed the freedom to take his time with his work. He is allowed to put a level of effort and passion into his work that animators just can’t achieve when working for a large corporate owned animation studio.

Agree with absolutely everything except “being underpaid” Animator’s pay has never affected animation quality, at all. It can’t. (it’s not like it was ever much to begin with, anyway) Think about it. Throwing more money in an animator’s face won’t magically boost their animating skills, and nor will they deliberately draw worse for being paid less (this makes no sense anyway because I’m absolutely certain they are already aware of their pay amount before even doing a single bit of work via contract info.), or else they’ll get fired for the job they willingly CHOSE to sign up for, you know, the same job that revolves around the skill they’ve literally trained their ENTIRE life for. These animators who have a huge love and passion for the medium will always try to do their best under the schedules and working conditions they’re given regardless of pay

@@tganims9804 Well whether pay affects the quality of someone’s work or not most likely depends on the individual person in question. But for some people it would definitely affect them (even if just subconsciously). Even if they didn’t think so at first, after a while of being overworked it’s not uncommon for someone to lose motivation for doing something they once loved and start thinking “Why am I even putting in so much effort working for this company if they aren’t even giving me reasonable pay.” and might start half-assing their work because of that. It’s a real thing that can happen with any job. Why give 100% if the company you are working for can’t even respect the value of your work?

I once had to animate a short gif as a homeowrk, and I know how hard it is to make that each frame connects smoothly with the next one, and the amount of work put just to animate a second. This guy deserves each single patron he earns and way more. The top tier quality you have is relatable of big animation studios, that have hundreds if not thousands of persons doing the work. What we have here, is an amount of effort comparable to the force of the blows that he is animating. Keep going, you're truly amazing.
