Yeah this is about how I experienced it the first time. "man Goku already won" next bar could have won the whole fucking battle on its own and just gets dropped on an already defeated opponent

Plot of DBZ. Enemy threat is spoiled by a side character, the guys train, Krillin gets owned, Goku doesn't take things seriously enough, almost dies, Krillin gets owned again, Goku eats a sensu bean, some character dies, Goku gets mad and defeats enemy, they locate the balls, summon the dragon to bring back the dead, a new big evil is spoiled by a random side character, they train, Krillin gets owned once again, Goku dies, trains in afterlife, they bring him back using the balls, just in time for the new big bad, Goku reaches a new transformation because of his training, defeats big bad but goes soft, letting them regenerate, they kill someone(probably Krillin), Goku finally gets serious and finishes the job of getting rid of the enemy. Rinse. Repeat.

Gts plot got crazy but no more so than most of superman's. its a battle of fists goku has the chi edge and is smart enough to realize the sun empowers superman, hopefully, and lure him away and depending on stuff might bring the senzu bag and eat a few. i still enjoy the original superman skills. the long fight scenes was time dilation so we could follow the action or something like that, guy confirmed so while back. for being so rare earth has a ludicrous amount of radiated Krypton. statistically lucky we have a gram but have a ton.

Cell plot. Cell comes from the future with Trunk, but not the future Trunks that we know, but another future trunks that cell killed, this origin becomes complicated. Goku black has a similar issue. The OG superman was in WWII and would literally drop bombs on japan. Christopher Reeve was paralyzed and couldn't walk again.
