Only halfway through the video so maybe it's address later in the video, but I'm curious what the opinion is on a convert if it's only about ethnicity. In Numbers 32:12, we see that Caleb is a Kennezite (or however it's spelled). But in Numbers 13:6 he's counted among the tribe of Judah. Obviously other examples exist such as Ruth who is in King David's line and thus Yeshua's ancestor. Also Acts 13:43 refers to righteous converts. My wife is a Jewish convert and we came to believe in Yeshua only recently. While I do believe in Yeshua, I do disagree with Paul's take on how one inherits the promises (including Messiah) given to us. It directly contracts Hashem's words as revealed through the prophet Isaiah in 56:1-8. But he wouldn't be the first pharisee/rabbi to twist Tanakh in favor of invented ideas that contradict Hashem.

BARNETT - My Jewish roots.Am I a Jew? The surname was adopted by Jews in England in 1840-80s who emigrated from Russian ruled Poland who had endured the Pomgroms there. The name was probably a hint to their tribe of Israel that they descended from. This was a way to ensure lineage and knowledge to pass down the generations in diaspora , so they knew where they come from. Some agree the adaptation of the name BARNETT, was a form of BARUCH who was probably their ancestor. Baruch Ben Neriah was a relative and a priestly scribe to the prophet Jeremiah during the time of the first diaspora from the Babylonian rule . Both he and Jeremiah are of the tribe of Levi , which is the priestly tribe. And descendants of Levi the third son of Jacob. Given the ‘ set apart’ derivation by God because , they were the only Hebrews who did not worship the golden calf, during the time of Mose’s time at mount Tabor and the subsequent giving of the Ten Commandments. This ‘set apart’ role had been given to the first born sons tribe, but they forfeited due to their idolatry and the tribe of Levi who had refused to worship the idol was granted the special definition instead. During the diaspora from Roman period. 70AD . The tribe of Levi among other tribes fled to Europe over the Caucus mountains. Where they eventually settled mostly in Eastern Europe. Until the Pomgroms under the Russian Empire when they then fled to further west to Germany, France, England etc. During the 17th century England allowed migrants fleeing the Pomgroms and later the nazi persecution in the 20TH c to settle in parts of England. The BARNETTS are some of those that settled in Birmingham and established a Jewish quarter there , most traded as watch makers, jewellers, brass founders, etc. Some were Taylors. They also built synagogues and schools and factories. BARNETT BRASS FOUNDRY being one on Avondale street. My great grandmothers parents were BARNETTS who lived on Avondale street. My forebears BARNETT took in a gentile lodger as he worked in the brass foundry there. One daughter Gertrude, married him and they moved about to differing close by places . Eventually to Watford so he could work as a manager to an engineering works there. Where my grandfather was born and subsequently my father. Due to my grandfather being killed in WW2 my father eventually migrated with his mother ( gentile) and step father ( gentile) to New Zealand in 1950. This is where I was born . My fathers family were cut off from him by his mothers desire for a new life and her desire to raise him as a Christian. Consequently my father had no idea of his Hebraic roots until his return to England and subsequent death in 2017. We met long lost first cousins who affirmed that the grandmother was Jewish. In addition, back in my fathers family lineage about the 14th century, a man had married a woman with the maiden name of Abrahams. By the way I’m a Christian in my faith

I can't understand what is the difference between jews and white man.I thought jews means people who believed in old testament with Israeli nationality.I didn't know they are ethnically different or they are different race.I will never ever recognise who is jew and who is not if they wear normal clothes.

By definition, a jew is a person who's part of a cultural group of people who are the descendents of the ancient israelites of the middle east.

A "jew" is a descendant of the tribe of Juda. Juda was Jacob's son. Jacob had 12 sons, the 12 tribes of Israel (Jacob's name). So Paul was not a "jew." Paul was a descendant from the tribe of Benjamin.

Dear Jews! If you are really looking for the truth and looking for the right and real way and not the easy and shiny way, verify what "experts" tell you! I will give an example: Golan said that the Jewish side that does not recognize Jesus as the Messiah sometimes deprives Jews of their Judaism when in practice this is simply not true. According to orthodox Jewish law, no matter how much a Jew has sinned, he will always be a Jew (Golan was probably confused with the time when many Jews converted to Christianity and were therefore abandoned by their families, but this happened for more than 500 years, today in most Jewish communities such a thing does not happen). Even the contemporaries of Jesus saw him as a Jew and did not remove the title "Jew" from him. Golan claims at the beginning of the video that he has been told at least a million times that he is not Jewish, and this makes me sad because he probably lives in a community of dark and narrow-minded Jews, I am sure that if he lived in a place that was a little more inclusive, no one would have dared to say such a thing to him. That's why I really recommend Dam not to believe any nice man who thinks he understands something. Good luck 🙂

How is it possible that one was a jewish because he or she is descendant from Jacob, but the origin of the word "jewish" is credited to Yehuda??? The Torah never says B'nai Yehuda, it says B'nai Israel. And that ethnic group is Arab. If jewish is an ethnicity, what do we do with Arab jews, do they have double ethnicity? Remember, Arab jews both of their parents are jewish but they are Arabs. But in Arabia, we have Arab Christians; Arab Muslims; Arab Druze; Arab jews. Chinese is an ethnicity but jewish is not, you destroyed your own argument.

We'll see if you're really better than both Solomon as well as the Prophet Jonah once you're tightly nailed down and can't move freely. We'll see if I help you once you start crying to Me for help." You see JC was like a childish 6 year old playground punk who comes up to you on the playground & says: “I’m better than you! I can do more push-ups than you!” And then throws sand in your face. Grow up and start worshipping God. And stop looking up to a playground punk as your role model!
