Come on! It was not Newt Gingrich that creates a separation between political parties. The main reason for today's great oppositions, was the move of the Democratic party from a liberal party, to a complete socialist/communist party. Well on the left that historically this party was. So, it was not the Newt the reason of that, it was the basic policies that Democratic party is following.
Like I repeat manh many times in your blogs that gold was consolidating between $2300-2350/oz and Silver 28-32/oz. It will start to spike going into Sept not excluding a black Swan event like M.E war. Today gold spiked all the way to 2500+/oz and Silver is at $29/oz. I wouldn’t be surprised if gold will hit $3,000/oz going into 2025 and its little brother silver will followhigher too.

Given how partisan the audience was I thought it was a funny moment and took the wind out of their sails.

Why didn't you qualify the recession? Is this a severe but quickly over recession? Is it a mild recession in amount of jobs lost and in length of time? Is it a recession that drags on with seemingly no end? Recessions come in different varieties.

Actually, he really lost because he said he would not raise taxes, and he reneged on his promise. The famous quote where Bush said "read my lips" couldn't be undone. Ross Perot was toast after he dropped out of the race and then came back in IMO. Mr. Christian also has it wrong too, but then again he has a lot wrong.

You can watch Doug Casey's interview on Donague in 1981 (sic) where he is predicting doom and disaster. He tells you to get out of McDonald's stock because people will be too poor to eat at Mickey D's. That's right....ditch your McDonald's stock in 1981.

@@billwoelke9572 Really, you obviously haven't seen him speak at events where he does not only disagree with the constant marketers, such as Rick Rule (Rick is a salesman and promotion expert - doesn't mean he doesn't offer value if it seems like I am calling him out), he calls it out and they don't invite him back. So from my point of view you have it backwards and I can back it up with interviews he's done. Jeff is also selling information, if that is what you actually mean, and it's up to you to decide which info is valuable to you. Listening to Doug Casey or Mathew Pipenburg constantly whine about the state of the world, and how useless the whole world and system is. after benefiting from it in everyway they sell a victim mentally to keep benefiting from it, rather then actually throwing their hat in the ring to fix these issues they see everywhere other selling their crap of "buy gold" is the most self serving weak minded type of person I have zero time for.
