Nice! SO want to catch one. Do you anchor up and berley? I've had a few goes, found the wind/tide pushing me the wrong way often. I try to stay in 5m+ in the broady and even more up the pin. Speaking of up the pin, the current was pushin hard on flood yesterday, do bullies care? Thanks
Wind and tide must be in the same direction. Deep water is best and live baits. I normally anchor and don't bother with chum. Tides don't really matter for me as long as the water isn't too dirty.
Yes you can catch them all year round and I generally use live baits live Mullet or Trevally basically whatever I can catch. You can fish in any of the deep channels near the Seaway or up towards the Pin.
