Great vid. Just a note on putting the gold in your mouth. I used to then an old timer showed me the Mercury that comes off the gold in one of the processes on the way to cleaning and melting it into ingots. Sorry don’t know much more than that about it but I saw the dots of Mercury with my own eyes. Last time I cleaned gold in my mouth.

Forget WA. This is not a friendly or accomodating state. In fact it borders on hostility to interstate recreational prospectors. West Australians are warmly welcomed in the Gold fields of Victoria, but when we go there we experience the opposite!!
Hi Jordie, hear what you are saying but i think there are plenty of friendly prospectors in WA. i guess in VIC you aren't dealing with the same amount of leases and fulltime prospectors ect. in Victoria its more of a free for all opposed to here where you need to do your research when you want to go prospecting. my partner and i are from the vic gold fields originally but we have been welcomed over here by other prospectors and made some good friends in the process. if you are ever over this way let me know.
