Referee must be removed. Continuous talking from her was distracting for the wrestlers and completely unnecessary. Please please please we cannot have this unprofessional level of officiating at this level of wrestling
Referee too frenetic. Needs to calm down. Was a bit biased against Iranian. Which has no place in wrestling. Meritocracy should not be tainted by bias.
I am an American so of course I was rooting for Gilman and I am very happy he won. That being said, this ref is **horrible** Wtf is she doing at 7:19? Yelling in the Sarlak's face?? Let them wrestle! The Iranian was working for offense. You don't need to distract him. If there is no progress, bring them up to their feet. Do NOT yell in the wrestlers face as he is fighting to score in a WORLD TITLE MATCH.

Horrible refereeing. What is this lady thinking? She's supposed to be the ref and not the commentator to talk so much into the ears of these wrestlers.
Are you implying that Gilman was benefitting from her comments? She tried to hit him for a point when he was underneath in par terre. thankfully, the real refs didnt agree.
We're seeing more and more across all sports that refs feel like they need to be a part of the competition. It's ridiculous. Literally the only reason you are there is to intervene if the rules are broken. Otherwise, let the athletes compete. You are merely a facilitator, you aren't part of the show.

Она кричит по английски, иранец ее не понимает и борец,выходя на. схватку должен бороться,а не слушать истеричные крики женщины-судьи.Вообще мужские схватки не должны. судить женщины.Я не видел ни одной женщины судьи, которая судила бы нормально. Она испортила схватку.
Это международные турниры и все судьи на них говорят по-английски, а если иранец не понимает, то это его уже проблемы. Садулаев с этими судьями как-то же взял 5 раз мир и 2 олимпиады! А вот что судить мужиков должен желательно мужик это я согласен. Но к сожалению это мировая истерия за равенство полов и на спорте отражается.
So many whining Iranians in the comments. Sure, the referee talked a lot, as they are told to do. But she didn’t interfere with the match. The Iranian just didn’t produce any offense until the final minute. He got out wrestled. Beautiful duck under at the end, but it was too late at that point.
This ref is the worst, most absurd, yenta. Obviously an affirmative action hire. Everyone who knows anything about being a referee has to agree. She ruined and interferred with actual wrestling and performance. Fire her. Never let her ref a match again.

I understand they want to make the sport more exciting, but the officiating has become so excessive. Constantly involved in the match. If someone does any footwork or wrestles from the outside...gets called for staling or warned for passivity. They have to find a more nuanced middled ground.
Sarlak had 2 opponnents 1 the gillman but the most devestating is an english reffere yelling orders foriegn at him non stop not allowing him to wrestle or concentrate if she wasnt the reff i guarantee he would have won .gillman had nothing over him except this lady .he lost to the biast or wanna be the center of attention reff .imagine the loss after the sacrifices he made with little to no attention from our persian hating regime . coming up on your own and get a biast referee.nice job lady you should lose your job at the least. Could you be fair ? If not get out .dont ruin lives .you are just a reff act like it.to mr sarlak better luck next time champ.
