Fantastic, it is great you are showing just how much rubbish you have to go through to get anywhere, yes, I think it is worth the effort that you put in for the nuggets you got Tanya it is what you love to do so keep it up, I would have liked to have seen into that mine shaft a bit to see if there was any reason not to go down and wave a detector along the sides but that is a whole different load of problems, it amazes me that someone has decided to dig a hole with a pick and shovel in the middle of nowhere and made money doing it for the time it took them to dig it, it's a hundred square kilometres of nothing, pick a spot, any spot will do, been laid up for a few days myself so nothing much to add to my story. You said it was 5C that would be so good to work in, it hasn't been below 35C for so long now, I run my aircon basically flat out, I was looking for your solar panels then I saw them and that was not enough so you must be running a generator then I remembered 5C and you don't need much power at that temp just lots of clothes and cuddles, have a good week. Well done for sticking with it Mrs Fat… I would have done the same thing. Loved the comparison on that last deep target.. I run a 7000 with the 15”cc also over here in Bendigo, Victoria.. I’m almost finished with a well-worked gully that has turned up 68 bits of deep gold so far….all around 0.1/0.2g in size. But I’ve also dug well over 200 bits of lead shot, so I feel your pain… Keep on living the dream guys… Cheers, Steven.☺️

They say patience is a virtue and it certainly paid off for you. We haven't done much gold detecting lately, been having more fun in old rubbish tips and I have been using the Equinox 800 to search for treasures and have found a few coins and interesting bits and pieces. Have fun and might see you around out in the wild west some day
