What’s amazing is how common gold actually is! It’s dang near everywhere, if only in small amounts. There used to be large veins near the surface in many places, but most of the easy stuff has been long mined out. For a hundred years, at any one time there would be whole Spanish ships with it’s cargo holds filled to the top with the purest gold. Although all the easy stuff is over with, it still exists in some small amounts everywhere, just not in quantities that make it feasible to mine commercially.
What is that style air chisel about? That thing looks very helpful. I work in natural gas and something like that could be a lifesaver compared to using a full jackhammer.
What rough work, day in and day out in a dusty hole in the ground, back stooped over a jack hammer....makes prospecting by counting particles in maple leaves seem like a day in the park!!

Good job! This is the way mining should be! These open pit mines where they erase whole mountains and pieces of history should be way illegal and banned.
that electric hammer in his arms at the beginning sure aint that air driven hammerstick he was using inside the mine. The difference is about 30 lbs. although pulling tha large air line can be a pain you can work the lighter machine all day. bit takes a long time of using that electric hammer to get to the point that you can use it all day long. its not just the weight but the nerve damage from the vibration in the wrists makes your hands feel like they arent there anymore. Something both machines do.
If there is an afterlife and they can see us, all those gold diggers (not the ones running after money but the yeee haaaaaaaw ones) are gonna hate these guys for being soooooo much faster😂😂😂
