There is no gold on Pikes Peak. Rather all the gold is located in the 3 calderas that surround Pikes Peak. Cripple Creek- Silverthrone - Idaho Spings/central & Blackhawk Cities are where all the gold mines and towns are located

Not much gold to be found around there. If any its dust or flower.

Cripple Creek has definitely had a resurgence in gold mining! If you haven’t been in a few years you would be shocked to see it now! The mountainsides are being stripped and there are new leach pits that weren’t there just a few years ago. If gold drops, activity will too, but for now it’s ‘on’ in Teller County!
