My best friend lived in Colorado, and when we would visit him and I would go out a couple of times during our visit, either panning or metal detecting. We would be gone all day long. I am now 70 years old and missed getting out to pan detecting. Unfortunately, my friend passed away a few years passed and I missed doing that activity with him. When I watched the video of your adventures, it made me miss him more. I still have the gold that we pan on my shelf in my man cave and pictures of our trip. So please keep making your videos and enjoy all of your time in nature and with your friends and family. Thanks for bringing back all of my memories of me and my friend.
Thanks for the story about you and your friend, and I'm glad to help bring back some great memories! I'd say if you get a chance, go ahead and visit a river, gold or not, and just enjoy the day. I do!
I’ve bought a few bags from you and have not even been close to disappointed! I’m almost 54 and a novice prospector as well as an aspiring guitarist so the last purchase was awesome!! Not only did I get more experience with panning, but I got a bonus guitar pick! Two for one 😎. Thanks a bunch for what you do and I look forward to learning more 🤘
My bestfriend lived back there before they built 58th ave. We called it Tarzan's. Everyone would build bike trails, jumps etc. We even had a halfpipe in the ground. Then when I was 12 at a family reunion at Prospect park/A-Bar I discovered prospecting. Witch we started prospecting Ralston creek 30yrs ago. Thanks for the video man brought back some good memories.
I couldn’t pay attention to the sluice box when you were working it, because I was watching Timber in the background. He was REALLY curious about those geese! I loved it!
Great video. Thank you for the hot tip about the books for finding gold. The biggest hump for not getting out is not knowing where to go or where to look. Showcasing the book while actually panning one of its locations truly helps break down that barrier... Thanks!! ⚡⚡
Aloha, already purchased some of your raw pay dirt and been having tons of fun. Not much gold to be found in Hawaii’s streams so this product definitely soothes the symptoms of gold fever. Mahalo for all the years of educational and entertaining content!🌺
Just moved to Colorado two years ago and your videos inspired my girlfriend and I to get into gold panning. We love all the local gold panning and prospecting videos glad you are still coming out with new prospecting content! 🙂
Great video and day out enjoying a beautiful day..the gold was a nice surprise! Timber has grown since I had seen him last! He looked like he was having as much as you! Thanks for taking us along!😊
I had to move from Colorado to Florida for business and I sure do miss the mountains and the peace of panning in the creeks and hiking. I will have to live vicariously through your adventures now. Thanks Shane lol
Colorado is so beautiful. Now I understand why my relatives moved out there (Arvada) years ago. Great to see you Shane. I would love to win the prize. Haven't won anything in a long time. A very long shot because you've been pretty popular for many years and understandably so. ATB ☮
I have been playing in the Colorado river. Even though im sure i wont see anything. I am enjoying being out there. Love watching other videos being done in Colorado.
Klesh just wanted to say I really enjoy your videos! I am very new to this hobby. I still have yet to find my first flake of gold! I tried a few times but nothing :( Maine is not known for alot of gold. But im not giving up. Im going to buy a bag of pay dirt off you. Its a breath of fresh air knowing I wont get ripped off. I even tried crushing some quarts that looked interesting. I paned it and all I got was mica. I have somthing in common with. I play the guitar and I used to make them. I made a total of ten acoustic guitars four parlor guitars and six dreadnoughts. That was 20 years ago. Im almost 70 now. I see that nice acoustic hanging on your wall looks nice! Those nuggets for sale look nice. Keep up the great videos! Mark.
Hi Shane .. Glad to see you out there making new videos for the new gold season here.. I'm so glad that winter is mostly over and we're moving into warmer weather but this is Colorado so it can change and the water in the creeks still running cold this time of year ... Lanky White Guy did a couple of videos just up stream probably about a 100 yards or so and he found about what you did in this video... Well I'll be looking forward to more videos in the future and still hoping to get to see you out on a creek someday until then ... God Bless and be Safe 👍👍 Don E. In Denver
Remember there is always more gold above ground than in the ground!! Gold panning is a fun hobby and nothing you get rich from!! Greetings from Sweden!!
Panning is prospecting, you don't get rich prospecting, you mke your money extracting the gold and that is called mining. You use the pan to locate the load in the ground and that can make you wealthy if you know how to navigate the regulations, have the skill and equipment. Most prospectors locate a load and claim it. Then you lease it out to miners for a percent.
Thanks for posting I have done Gold strike several times and have never really found anything in Ralston Creek so it was good to see you and get a little bit of gold
hey Klesh i’ve been a fan for quite awhile now, this is my first time i’ve commenting i think😂 from stumbling upon the Nugget bucket videos to binging thru every pay dirt review time and time again thru out the years i’ve even purchased several different pay dirts you’ve reviewed over the years for fun and even teaching my parents and siblings all i’ve learned from your channel. Just wanted to finally comment on one of your videos and say thank you for continuing, thank you for teaching and inspiring a passion and a life long hobby i never thought i would love i much as i do. best of health and luck to you man 🤟🏽🤙🏽
My daughter moved to the Denver area 2 years ago. I like to go panning when we visit her. It is nice that you share information of places to go pan. Thanks.
Stumbled on your videos about a month ago. Me and my son love watching and learning. He keeps begging me to buy paydirt but after watching you videos, we are both careful of what we think about buy. Thank you for the videos!
Love the idea of a sluice cons bags! You could find a big picker or garnets but most likely shot pellets and fishing weights. I need some more fishing weights so Lets Goooo!!
I'm happy to see you back out on "the creeks" again. I enjoy watching your videos, for the panning, but also, because you make learning more about it fun. Keep up the good work, Shane.
The sound and the look of that running stream made me wanna get outdoors. Down here in South Texas, where I’m from, I don’t do any prospecting, only metal detecting, but the Gold of Raw Pay dirt packs would be fun to try. Great video, Shane._/ 👍🏻
I used to bring my sons to a diamond mine and dig and search for diamonds. We also would pan for gold at a couple of different spots near us for something fun to do. The good old days. I still have the diamonds that I found and the gold I panned. Thanks for sharing your videos. Keep them coming.
Love the videos. Three years ago this week I started prospecting after watching several of your pay dirt reviews and haven’t looked back since. I can say that I learned to pan by watching your videos so thank you for the education. Keep it up. North Carolina, born and raised, so to speak.
So excited to see another video. My daughter purchased one of your panning kits for my birthday last year. I have a bag of dirt from Wonder World , here in Texas. Looking forward to using it. Is your next video about cleaning out the piece of rug you found. Hope it has some interesting stuff in the fibers.
