Regarding America rebuilding a military force capable of hitting back at Russia in 4-5 years, they will have to recruit a new group of capable men and women besides the children & grandchildren of those of us whose families have traditionally served. Our patriotism was abused by oligarchs and colonialists, for their gain and for harm to many nations including our own. To hell with serving in the military just to be pawns of oligarchs leading us to more wars. All we need to do is be strong enough to protect our own nation and interests. 50% of that strength is military, and 50% should be diplomacy and cooperation with other nations - not corrupting them and creating chaos in order to abuse them and gain cheap resources. The Soviet era is OVER. We are dealing with nations who need America to either return to our traditional roots or become the most hated nation when we could have made such a difference again for good.
The term recision is batted about. Contraction in growth. Well hell yes, if there's not you should be very worried. How can a prosperous free market continue without knocking down some cobb webs from time to time? Darwinism.

I enjoy your discussions with Simon but have to take issue with his laughable statement that China has caught up with the US or NATO as a Naval power. China currently has three carriers, the US has 11 and the UK has 2, France 1.
******* Even though gold and silver have grinded higher and GDX is still in consolidation it always disappoints!! For instance, after gapping higher it never continues to rally or after gapping lower it never comes out of the hole and rallies! Always goes down more than up and settles off the highs and never follows through on the upside, but alway follows through on the down side.
