@@lizaamesau8066 I think this is mainly because Trent's skillset is for creating opportunities. But Liverpool is able to create plenty without him anyway, this squad is honestly awesome and has so much depth. Conor is able to defend AND create, so for me he has the edge, no question.
I wouldn’t say that and I’m a pool fan! Thing is he’s just become good since December! He didn’t have a very good start! Prob just getting use to our style I guess! I can see why some people aren’t fully convinced however I am not one of those and I think he’s quality
I usually hate people who say things like this but I genuinely question if someone understands the sport at all if they don’t rate Mac allister. A coaches dream and makes any team in the world better
No sane person is sleeping on how good Alexis is. I mean, he’s a World Cup winner. He had a phenomenal tournament & he had performed well for years with Brighton. I just hate how we seem to have this revolving door of injuries.
@@tmkkxx101 oh my bad - I thought it was at least 2 years. I thought his first game was against Wolves on 07 March 2020 & his last game was against Aston Villa on 28 May 2023. That seems like more than 2 years to me. Pardon me if I’ve got that wrong.
Couldn’t agree more. Every weekend I am left holding my breath to see which Liverpool player is the next to be subbed off injured……I’ve lost all the confidence I had for the Carabao Cup final….I just hope the ones playing can do the job against Chelsea…..
Mark been watching you for a while and I’m a Liverpool fan.. I don’t subscribed to many Man Utd fans but I subscribed to you because your a fair Man Utd fan always giving your honest truth and don’t hate on other river clubs! So thank you for being good fair person and truthful always
Mark that's a massive win considering how how many injuries we had in that game we missed few sitters as well we deserve to win 4-1 and oFC there were two pen Incidents we're didn't care
Endo and Macallister for a combined £50 million arguably the two best signings of the season! especially when you look at the money spent on players at other clubs
And it boggles the mind to think that Liverpool fans were crying having missed out on Caicedo and Lavia! Folks, Endo is God-sent to teach us fans, particularly Liverpool fans that you should never judge any book by its cover
@@Stemlok absolutely not, Bradley already looks absolutely elite, as good if not better than any other right back in the league. This kid is going to do massive things.
So many rival fans said we'd dip after the Arsnal game. Not a chance 🤣. Arsenal was just a bad day at the office. We would have gotten something out of the game if we turned up, but we didn't, unfortunately. YNWA!
Tbf to Darwin, he’s been much better than Haaland with one on ones this season. He just hits the woodwork twice as much as it goes in the back of the net. No disrespect to haaland, his one on one finishing has been poor.
Implicitly Goldbridge I’m a Die hard Red! Never really liked you or your content - errr the last two years you’ve changed me or err I’ve changed… Great non biased person/mancunian these days! Wow gold baby! One love ❤️
mac allister is who city thought they were getting with kovacic and nunes, im not sure why city didn’t go in for him to be honest he’d of been the perfect gundogen replacement they’re very similar players, obviously right now mac allister isn’t as good as gundogen in his best years but he’s still 24 im pretty sure and give him a couple years to settle and he’d almost be like a gundogen regen cus he’s shown he can play as a 6, 8 or 10 like gundo
I think it was timing for City. Alexis and his family seemed to want the move done fast and discreetly. Gundo was still figuring out. Also, a midfield revamp in freaking Liverpool is quite enticing (more than an unsure start at mancity). But i agree, he had “pep player” written all over his game.
@@mikibv8007 ye ur probably right, i forgot gundo was in limbo for a bit in my head it was clear he was leaving, also good point about him not being a guaranteed starter at city, i was looking at it from a city pov not the players. Who knows really cus we all thought caicedo and lavia would be desperate to join liverpool over chelsea and we’ve seen how that’s turned out, bet they’re both kicking themselves now
I'm a Liverpool supporter, and so am opposed to United, but I must say, you offer rich insight into football. I get much more from your commentaries than the pundits on TV.
I’m getting offended by all the praise being constantly heaped on City. 115 charges is the worst cheating anyone has ever done in the history of football. Their success is built on cheating. Remember Ben Johnson, would you call him the best sprinter ever?
just so people know it’s not offensive to trent to say we don’t miss him right now, when he plays and he’s fit he runs the game and he’s obviously better than bradley in that inverted role but whilst trent’s been out we haven’t really needed his creativity cus we’ve been scoring for fun. There’s been times and there will be more times where we struggle to break down low blocks and trent will be the difference. Trent’s absence was felt against arsenal for example, he played but he wasn’t fit hence why he went off at half time, also in that game he wasn’t inverted he stayed out wide almost like we know him being inside wouldn’t work with him carrying something
Runs the game? Our performances for the most in this inverted system are poor. We play soo much better as a team with real width and bradley hugging the touchline
@@vesper4199 i disagree mate, i can see why ur saying it because bradley using the width is something trent rarely does now in comparison to what he used to but when szoboszlai plays trent sort of takes up that hybrid midfield role and szoboszlai will go out wide cus he’s played as a winger for parts of his career so he’s comfortable there and better than bradley going forward. Either that or salah goes deeper and wider which is good cus then he gets on the ball more cus some games he barely touches the ball, then when the fullback follows salah out there trent or szoboszlai can make that run. It’s definitely something to consider because there will be games where we want a bradley going down the right so then we can just put trent RCM but in the average game trent inverted is best for all parties
Mark, No Liverpool fan is resting on Alexis, not at all, mans a word cup winner, whos hard work allowed messi to win the world cup, and thats the key, whatever position he plays in the midfield he works hard, typical klopp player, BRIGHTON dropped the ball with the buy out clause
Alexis is great, but whilst he's learnt the 6 roll, it's much better seeing him more forward with Endo behind him, i do get why some of the more fickle football fans havn't rated him this season because he's rarely had the chance to show his best work, but if you step back and look at it, new team, new position to learn, he was never terrible, hes definitely improved/still improving in that no.6 but do prefer seeing him more forward still
After city drawing with Chelsea next 3 games foe city decides if they are going to win the league. Bournemouth away man United home Liverpool away and got arsenal to play
Only thing that gets me with Alexis is that he gets caught in possession and in the short passes he sometimes blasts them when he under pressure and then the other player gets blamed for a bad touch. Saw it with Endo today down the right he got pressed and blasted it at Endo who lost out to a Brentford player. He’s a good player but some people act like he’s the perfect midfielder. He does the exceptional well but sometimes has issues with the basics
Ok…..I’m from the United States and I’ve been a Liverpool fan for awhile now. And yes…I call it soccer. Sorry. lol. I’ve been watching these vids and I’m curious as to some of the slang. I need to ask…what is a prat
