Happens every week to a different team and we still complain. It doesn't matter about intent, it doesn't matter anymore if he gets the ball first, the fact of the matter is that in todays game, as per the rules, any time the studs hit high on the leg, its a clear red card.

So your telling me if a player sees another player about to put their foot down they can reach their foot under and they’ll get a red? Makes no sense it’s a stupid rule espically in that scenario when rashford is just trying to shield the ball and isn’t even looking at the guy behind him this rule and all the stupid rules they keep adding to protect players is the reason why the ball is in play for less than half of a game it’s a joke

@@Adam-hy1du I don't disagree, I am not saying the rules are correct, I'm only saying that in 2023, this is the rules. The sooner we accept it, the easier it will be. The referee's are employed to follow the rulebook, and studs making contact with the oppositions leg, according to the rulebook, is an automatic red card.

He's unreal and disguises his bias by complaining about refs. It doesn't matter what's the right or wrong decision, that part only matters when it's for his side

I thought the ref's decisions were good, too. People are talking about intent on the red card but I've seen Romero sent off and Curtis Jones sent off just recently; their intentions were also getting the ball.
