As an arsenal fan, I fully understand the points he’s making about ETH. He is the right manager but he needs time and windows to build the squad in his style. He’s a project manager with amazing pedigree is building young squads who play good free flowing attacking football. The problem he’s facing is bringing in the defenders he wants.It’s clear to see that he needs an upgrade on AWB, Dalot, Lindelof, Maguire and eventually Evans. The issue is also that the defenders he would like to keep are all injury prone. Varane, Martinez, Shaw and Malacia can’t stay fit during a season. Amrabaat will need time but could work a great partnership as a double pivot. Fernandez works well as the 8/10 role. Rashford needs to stop worrying about feeding the kids and start feeding his team mates. He’s always got his head down because it looks like he’s trying to do it all on his own. Look up and play in someone who’s in space. Same for Anthony. Stop with the spineroonies and be more aggressive and direct. If Rashford could pass more and Anthony improves his focus, that front three would be up there with the best in world football. The midfield seems to be ok. It’s just that defence. If they signed Inacio from sporting and Silva from Benfica, that would go a long way to improving the team now, and in the long term future. After that, get a RB like a Fresneda. Physically strong, fast, can get forward or invert. I hope it doesn’t happen as I’d rather see those three in arsenal shirts in the future lol Give ETH windows and time and they will be back competing again. Regarding sacking Ten Hag… We’ve sacked the previous managers because after a year or so they lost control of the team and the team ended up downing tools. Well, the exact same is happening with Ten Hag. And if he’s effectively lost control of the team, he’s unlikely to regain it in the future.
