Turn his career around? He has been successful everywhere he has managed except Spartak Moscow (6 months) and Arsenal (18 months). Basically, he is really good managing in Spain and in UEFA competitions. He had mixed results at PSG including a historic loss to Barcelona in March of 2017.

I’m sorry but we should have shut the bus after Werner goal. We literally had only 15 mins left. Werner shldnt have been subbed off, he was playing with confidence from the previous game. 1st Madrid goal Kante or RLC should have stopped play and fouled the Madrid midfielder. Pulisic was poor very poor. Ziyech should have passed when he was through instead of going for glory. Overall Chelsea played very very well. Very proud of Chelsea now we need to focus on the FA cup and win it. COYB💙💙

The rules state that if the ball hits the hand in any capacity in the process of a goal, the goal does not stand. Its so simple. You cant say its BS because its the rules enforced properly. Also, the corner for Rudiger's goal was not a corner, so justice served.

Ye. It would have been weird to seen a manager swap Champions League for a team who were battling relegation. I think at PSG the expectations were high because PSG wanted him to win the Champions League and he had just won his third Europa League in a row. Whereas at Arsenal people were mocking his english and that they couldn't understand what he was saying.

Look at Unai Emery's history as a manager. His clubs usually perform better in UEFA competitions than they do in league play. The exception was his time at PSG when they won the league but got bounced out of the UCL twice.

2 great games! Huge upset by Villareal! But honestly they could've been up 3-4 to 0 after the 1st leg. Looked the more dangerous team throughout. Amazing performance by Chelsea, but just came up short. Chelsea fans will point to the disallowed goal... But Mendy gifting Madrid a goal in the 1st leg, and Pulisic/Havertz not being clinical in the 2nd is why they fell short. Tuchel should've left Werner on! He was playing the game of his career! Chelsea were the better team for 3/4s of the tie. But Madrid capitalized on their chances!

The handball is a very simple rule. If you're attacking and touch the ball with your arm/hand the goal is disallowed (unless it's attached to the body which wasn't Alonso's case). I don't understand why people don't understand it.

What kind of a fan are you. Though RM have a relatively weaker/older squad they have won the mental game and kept their willpower and mentality on top throughout the whole game (and of course through the tournament). It deserves huge appreciation imo. They never got let down and that is enough to kake RM deserving of what they achieved.
