Turkey = check weight and cook accordingly. Mine was in the oven at 180 degrees for 2 and half hours then rested half an hour with foil over it.
Potatoes = peeled, par boiled for ten minutes, then added to the oven half an hour before the turkey comes out. Once turkey comes out up the temperature to 200 degrees. I heat a tray of cooking oil, three slugs, in the over ten minutes before I add the potatoes and give them a stir in the oil.
Stuffing = 2 onions chopped and fried, add 50g chopped hazelnuts and continue to fry until onions are lightly browning. Remove the heat and add 50g chopped apricots and 150g of breadcrumbs. Mix together. Then mix in a beaten egg and season with salt and pepper. Then add to a bowl and cook in the over for the last half an hour when the Turkey is out.
Carrots, peeled, chopped and boiled for ten minutes.
Red cabbage, chopped and mixed with two chopped red onions in a bowl. Add 2 teaspoons of mixed spice, a slug of port, two slugs of red wine vinegar, two peeled and chopped cooking apples. Then add all to a pan and cook on a low heat for 2 hours, stirring every half hour.
Pigs in blankets. As per video, sausages wrapped in bacon. Add to oven for last 45 minutes or until cooked.
Bread Sauce, packet bought, just add milk and stir on a pan until thickened.
