@@CraZYJU710Sk And God made dogs, they're like angels sent to earth for the sole purpose of making their owners happy. Jesus will save me and so will a dog.
I just came back from the vets office. My good girl crossed the rainbow bridge. 14 1/2 years just wasn't long enough. I wanted more. It helps to see this sweet golden, but my heart is broken.
Oh my gosh I'm so so sorry. Been dogless for a year and a half now and I still struggle looking at his pictures or watching videos of him. I miss him so much. Sending you a huge hug!
My golden retriever came to my house 5 years ago by entering my front yard (gate was left open). He immediately laid down on the grass and started acting like he's been here forever. After unsuccessfully trying to find his owner, we adopted him. Needless to say, he made our home much happier place.
I had a Golden named Howard. He was damn near perfect. We found him living on trash at a local racetrack. He slept on my bed that night. He would go back & forth between my sister's & mine every night until we were asleep. He was super smart. He passed in 1994. Gone but never forgotten 💔
@@RomicBianchii’ve only ever met one aggressive golden, and it’s because she was beaten brutally by her first owner of 5 years. she was very timid and if you didn’t let her sniff you each time you came near her, she would preemptively snap, expecting the worst. :( unfortunately she ended up living a short life due to how horribly she treated initially. but she passed away loved and oh so adored.
@@anacarver333She was able to live the rest of her short life in genuine peace, that's something every dog deserves and she got that in her time Now she's free to wait for any of her loved ones in the beyond
@@anacarver333I currently took in one who is very dog aggressive and gets into fights. It is hard work, I don’t understand how someone managed to fukkk up on a golden retriever like how? He showed up to my house and I found the owners, turns out they threw him out to his luck. Been working on him and he’s getting better.

I have a 18 week old black lab pup named Blue. Angel? 🙈 no. Nope. Not an angel. He is defiant, cantankerous and complete chaos in a loose fur coat. Absolutly and by far, the cutest soul in the house and more fun than I have had in years. He is going to be the best dog in the world, once I figure out how to teach him manners. He's getting there.
My childhood babysitter (a close friend of my parents) got a black lab as a puppy from her breeder friend, when she was still training him and becoming the alpha she would bring him to our house, he was so adorable and sweet (though he did once destroy her purse while waiting in her parked car during a brief errand, but luckily didn’t eat any makeup)
@@badpiggies988 Funny Blue update. I installed a "button" on him. At meal time I make him do a sit, wait, then after a few seconds to a minute. I call him to me. He sits. I Boop his nose, say ok. And he springs over to his meal like a week old fawn. Now, he won't eat till he get's his boop.
I have an English cream golden named Maggie, who is also 2 years old :) she’s so fluffy and soft, and only speaks the language of unconditional love. We love our little princess ❤️
I’ve never met a person who’s said their golden wasn’t the best dog they’ve ever had. I’m 15 and I’m puppy raising one right now to be a therapy dog. She’s amazing ❤
@@miastrong151 do you know what the word joyless means? why are you even watching dog videos if you don't like dogs? i feel for you, fam. must be a great life going around tryna make everyone else as miserable as you.
My golden retriever is cuddling up to me on the couch right now as our daily morning routine. After I finish my coffee we go for a walk. His name is Ranger, he’s an angel from heaven ❤
I miss my Golden so much. We had to have her put down 2 years ago because she developed lymphoma and it was quite aggressive. I don't think I've cried so hard at the loss of a pet than I did with my Honeybell. She was the bestest girl ever!!❤
Makes me remember our Retriever. He was such a gentle giant but my god I'll forever remember the time me and him were rough housing and during a match of tug-o-war he somehow mustered the strength to drag my 300 pound ass across the house while I was flat on my back And one time when I was a kid (I think around 11) and he was a pup I fell asleep on the floor and he managed to somehow wedge himself under my head so I was using him as a pillow and woke to him asleep like that.
I had a golden retriever named Tobi and he was the best dog I could ever ask for 💖❤️💗💞💕 We had to put him down 2 days before Thanksgiving last year. The emergency vet said he thought it was an infection and sent Tobi back home with us 2 days prior, saying to bring him back if he doesn't improve within 24 hours and they'll hospitalize him. I don't think I've ever been so upset with a vet before in my life until then. Anyway, Tobi had such a big personality and the biggest heart, so full of love, I mean just bursting at the seams with so much love to give us 🥺🥹 He even came into my room to say goodbye to me a couple days before he passed away. Normally he'd come into my room to say he needed to go potty, but that night I knew it was different. He laid his head on my bed and let me rub his ears, gave me some kisses, and absolutely did not want to go outside haha. I miss him dearly. I love you, Tobi! Momma and I miss you so much, baby boy!
My favorite thing about retrievers is that they are so adorable and so dang expressive. Their tails are expressive, their freaking eyebrows are expressive, and their EYES!? It’s like you can see into their souls when you look in their little eyes and their souls are always so warm and adorable it makes your heart melt into a puddle every single time

My Samson was a gentle giant who could carry 3 tennis balls in his mouth at one time…he was addicted. We had a houseful of tennis balls and never bought one…Samson stole them from the tennis court not far from our house, lol.
I had a golden retriever and he lived a very happy fulfilled life of long walks and lots of swimming he was a very happy. Unfortunately we lost him at aged 14 he had a stroke in the middle of the night. But he was the best retriever in the whole world and could never be replaced.
@@Yeah_You_Thought I did if I’m honest. It was three years ago now. We have since got a very handsome black lab called Digby who is terrified of water would you believe he will only go in ankle deep if he needs a drink . But he has the most amazing personality he is my best friend 🖤
I've never met one I didn't like...My neighbor has 4 of them & walks them everyday on multiple leashes, they are always perfectly mannered...even the puppy...❤
Golden Retrievers are great because: 1. So affectionate, love to be cuddled and loved on. 2. Never seem to get angry even if teased or messed with. 3. Typically, they are one of the gentlest big dog breeds out there. 4. Typically, they like children, even young children (toddlers), and can be trusted nearly 100% not to hurt baby sister or younger brother. 5. They are typically protective of their baby (human) sister or baby (human) brother. 6. They have the sweetest, saddest eyes when they look at you wistfully that can make a hard man melt. They are aesthetically beautiful to look at.
She looks like my old boy Tristan. He passed away a couple of years ago. I had another golden named Holly, but she looked more like an Irish Setter. They're both chewing bones in doggie heaven. ❤
I can’t wait to have my own goldy. Hell I already even have a name for her. They’re the cutest dogs with the most loving soul. I know a golden retriever will make my life much happier 🌸
They are such great dogs 🙏🏽 we lost our golden a few months ago, he was 14 years old and an amazingly good Boy, you really could feel his unconditional love for us and how happy he always was to be there for his family ❤
"Good at everything they do" Your absolutely right. My sister's golden is the best at being devious. He's seven and still a goofy, devilish dog. So cute, but so naughty 😂
Ok…this popped up on my feed. I lost my sweet, beloved 16 yo puppers in October and was thinking about adopting a rescue Golden. When Vanessa said “this is your sign” I got goosebumps. Thank you, Vanessa!
My golden retriever who passed away about a year ago was the best dog you could ever ask for. Her name was Cindy and she was with us for 14 years. I still love her so much and always still think about her. I hope to see her again in heaven.
Jesus Christ saved me from depression and death. If you cryout to him then he will definitely help you. He is one and only god there is no other god except him..
We are now on our third Golden and have loved every minute with all of them. Our first Golden, who almost made it to 16 years old, would do that as well, but mainly with her thick fisherman's rope. She'd have this thick, bulky rope dangling out of her mouth, balanced with her paws, and she's on her back having the time of her life. And then she'd see one of us, roll over, dump the soggy rope right in our lap, give us a huge brown eye look with that goofy grin on her face, and the split second we touched that rope, tug of war was on! I love how all a Golden really wants is to be loved as part of the family.
I love it when a golden retriever throws a tantrum. They kinda pout, sometimes they try to be, but can not. Sometimes, they are mischievous and stubborn. A wonderful breed of dogs :)
It's their personality and constant smile😊😊. If only they didn't shed like crazed lunatics I'd have me 1😢😢. Glad I have Harper. My 2yo female Sheepadoodle. No shedding and lovable as any dog.
@@Yeah_You_Thought NONE that I ever noticed. No dog is non shedding, but these are so minimal you just don't see it. Trust me, our only other dog was a full blooded black lab and they SHED. Sheep dogs are a "herding" breed and they can have a tendency to "nip" at other dogs or even kids when playing. Not bite, but nip. Price can be ridiculous with the popularity. Upwards of $3500 to over $4000 😱😱. NO, I paid nowhere near that. Harper LOVES to take walks and play fetch with her stuffed animals or tennis balls. Inside or out. She's a standard size and is about 75-80lbs and about 22 to 24" tall. She's B&W and she is a good dog for the most part. She's still a dog and likes to bark at cats, squirrels and the such.
My grandfather had 2 golden retrievers name Holly and Lucy, they were a year apart and were the best dogs ever. Super loving, always jumping up to get love and give you kisses, I miss those dog's dearly, as well as my grandfather. Great memories with great family, hold on to them!
Mine got a tumor on her back leg back in 2013 died at 9. She was the nicest dog ever. Loved to swim, go on walks, and lay with you. Golden retrievers are the best dog. For someone whose kind of allergic or doesn’t want a dog quite as big. My family has a couple of blue tick beagles. Very similar personality to goldens in some ways. Love family too.
@@annmariesloan8406 They aren’t cute. They are the dumbest, ugliest, most annoying dog. They have literally every bad trait. The drool. They shed. They are prone to behavioral problems. They require heavy amounts or time and energy, and they are big enough to destroy your whole house. Literally who would want one? Eww
Scotland has given the world so many things, from penicillin to golf and whisky, but surely the best by far is the Golden Retriever - an exerciser, an entertainer, a guardian and most of all, the best friend you will ever have.
@@gabbyhayes1568 ouch, still it's probably better to pay as much as the most responsible breeders charge cause then the next 10-15 years you'll save money on vet bills
