deiondre0 I would probably agree with you on the NBA being soft now. My only counter would be that I think the NBA is trying to cut back on moving screens and travels. And players have been getting away with it for so long that now when they finally start calling it, it feels weird. I don’t know if you watched the Celtics Raptors game but there were like five travel calls in the first quarter. The players are just going to have to start planting to their feet for screens because I think this is the direction that the NBA wants to go.

y d nah bro, refs are consistently disrespected. NBA players consistently push them around and complain to them. I think they do make too many calls though. Draymond green for example acts like he's always in the right and even when the refs make the right call he yells at them until they give the warriors the 50/50 calls. The league is so soft, we need handchecking back. The league is like this for entertainment purposes, attempting to garner the most following. It's no longer teams trying to score on defense, but it has become defense trying to slow down offenses. My favorite example is the Blazers. A good chunk of their offense is NBA teams can't play physical so they drive and put up bad shots hoping refs make bad calls and then complaining when they don't get the call. After a while, the refs eventually give the Blazers more calls just because they were complaining about perfectly good defensive possesions.

@@macfinn9957 actually i was talking about fouls on the defender who is being screened, not moving screens lol (those are a problem too). There were at least 10 of these calls in this game, not even exaggerating. Now refs are calling fouls when defenders are trying to fight through a screen, even if they werent reaching or trying to body-up on the ball-handler. At halftime i think there were 28 total fouls, in other words at least 1 foul every minute. How is a team supposed to maintain a scoring run under those circumstances
