Flat Duo Jets is an American psychobilly band from Chapel Hill, North Carolina, and Athens, Georgia. They were a major influence on several bands of the 1990s and 2000s, including The White Stripes. In interviews, Jack White has often acknowledged Dexter Romweber's influence.

Great to see you giving this band some attention. I remember finding them when I was listening to a lot of White Stripes a few years ago. I love the instrumental "Tidalwave", not sure if it is a cover or theirs but I'd like to know if anyone does!

That’s very apt Al, if you think about the progression of the Beatles they certainly used a lot of interesting chords and pretty colours/tension - Michelle, the intro to “I want you she’s so heavy” has an augmented chord, even the harmonies in I wanna hold your hand get interesting with a rock guitar vibe, very apt description Al, spot on as usual!
