This is the new Cliff Base Level made by GERage!
You need The GEsetup editor 2.0 or higher to Apply the ips patch.

And to play this level, you need an emulator or if you want to play this on your Nintendo 64, you need a flashcart, such as EverDrive 64.

This video is made with the Mupen 0.5 avi capture. The new levels can't be TAS'd because it will freeze if you load a state. So this is just normal play with keyboard and Mouse.

I like the roleplay factor on levels like this. The guy starts on probably the most guarded corner ever. One step out he's already being shot by 4-5 people.

When I was young,I used to hear a lot of stories of hidden levels,wepons and etc in Goldeneye.Later I discovered that never existed,and the "proof" were shots taken from Beta stage... However,I really like this level!

this is pretty mad edited together stage compared to all the others. it wuld've been awesome if when the game first came out computers available to the public had the capacity to edit stages or even have an emulator. there'd be tons more stages out

Oh cool. This brings back good memories lol. There's actually a glitch at the end when you kill baron samedi with the golden gun, i can't remember exactly, think you plug in the 2nd controller and while holding R to aim with the first, if you shoot with Z on the second controller, shots randomly fire in the cutscene and you can kill baron samedi again. Something like that. Though goldeneye reloaded looks like COD, I hope it will atleast be a good FPS, and very 007 in other aspects.

@patriotic111 It's a setting on the N-rage input plugin, config it and go to shortcut, there's an unlock/lock mouse option shortcut key, then you can simply press a key to lock or unlock the mouse. If you lock it, you can only use the emulator, if you unlock it, you can use Windows too. So if you're busy playing, lock the mouse so you don't open programs on Windows accidently.

Is the music playing on this level part of Serra's soundtrack? It sounds really cool. I didn't like a lot of the music he did for the movie. I'm not sure if it sounds outdated listening to it today or what but I find it kind of distracting every time I watch Goldeneye now lol. This song is awesome, though! Is it avaliable anywhere or was the N64 score for the game only?

@58fenix, as the video description says, you can download this level, you need to apply the ips patch with the Goldeneye setup editor and then you can play it on an emulator :)

Yes, it is possible to play custom levels on EverDrive 64. The most custom levels works, but there are a few that doesn't work at all. I still have to test a few on EverDrive.

@09HARDSTYLE09, go to your input setting where you setup your controls. Cnfigure your left click as the Z button. Ten, go to the shortcut tab, and choose a key you don't use for control to lock/unlock mouse.

Leonardo Santos You have to download the modify level, and apply the IPS patch to the clean unmodified GoldenEye 007 (U) [!] ROM. You rename the new ROM you get, which is the Cliff Base! You have to use the GoldenEye Setup Editor to apply the IPS patch. The link is in the desciption.

This video is recorded using the built-in avi capture feature. I don't use Fraps for recording other stuff. Fraps records your gameplay and saves the video but the video is really big in size. Fraps can also take a screenshot of your gameplay. I've used Fraps in the past but it lagged too bad. I use Xsplit to record my videos now. Much better :) The downside is you need to have a really good computer, well, it's actually the same case with Fraps, but Xsplit does need more resources.

@3Dtacos This is a full custom map you can create with Goldeneye setup Editor- you can get that at GoldeneyeVault . com along with other custom maps. Usually they are played in emulators, but if you have a Gameshark Pro with the computer cable, you can send these custom levels as cheat codes onto the N64 :)

Download the Goldeneye Setup Editor from Goldeneyevault. The link is in the description. After you've downloaded and installed it, go to this level you've downloaded. There will be an .ips file. Extract the .ips file and open the Goldeneye setup editor. Choose to apply the ips patch. It asks for the orginal Goldeneye 007 ROM, choose that, then it asks for the .ips and choose the .ips and then name your new ROM. Now you're ready to play!

@jemnbam *i know it's old* you can play this on the n64 *generate the GS code* but many peopel have repoted it to freeze upon start or freeze halfway through the mission *BTW it would take atleast 3-Months to type in the GS code*
