I tried this line from Interlaken to Montreux and really enjoyed the view! It was a bit hectic to change trains several times on the route so good that they introduced new cars which move you onto different rails seamlessly

Hello!! Great video, thanks!! Do you recall if the steps to board train are too steep or too many? Ill be with my mom who is partially disabled but can walk assisted by her nanny, and can even go up a few steps. We need to take the Express instead of the Panoramic (which is the wheelchair friendly one) becauae of train timings... Thank you!

I'm so jealous, I love Montreux and I took the older Panoramic Express from Montreux to Gstaad and Chateau D'Oex in the past. Does she travel in the snow? I'm thinking of going to Montreux Noel and a day trip to Interlaken would be such a treat!

I still didnt understand about this route. Say if I take from Interlaken - Montreux via Zwei throught Golden line, how do I get Belle Epoque train? Which station should I change? If it includes on same pass.

Hi! Thank you for the video! You mentioned about needing a valid first class ticket pass on top of the 35CHF seat reservation. But what if my Swiss travel pass is for 2nd class? Do I go to the counter before that to do an upgrade first like the usual train upgrades?

A modern train with three classes (Prestige, 1st and 2nd) and different levels of service. Offers for groups adaptable according to needs. Seat reservations are strongly recommended. Information and reservations on This train is very busy, please check alternative connections. Access to the train for people with reduced mobility is not yet guaranteed. Customers with reduced mobility are advised to use alternative connections.

Thanks for the video! I have booked Prestige Seats and am aware I need a valid first class ticket - these are unavailable to buy yet as it is more than 2 months away. When I do buy, what happens when they ask me to pick a seat in First Class, as I already have my seat reserved in Prestige? Thanks! ☺️

You can! But will need to make 2x seat reservations

The ticket is a bit tricky. The web site strongly recommend you to reserve a seat, which takes 10 CHF, and it is actually not necessary...

HI you should do the reservation in advance to guarantee you will have a seat and not wait until the train station in case it is full
