I love how it switches to German when all hell breaks loose. For English speakers that don’t understand German it makes the war part feel even more chaotic.

This is possibly the happiest song about the Cold War ever

Every time I would listen to this cover within earshot of my mom, she would always tell me that the ending of this version doesn't give her goosebumps like the original. She passed last month but I'm glad to know that this will be some silly little something I think about every time I hear this song.

I feel it's the duty of us out there that saw Goldfinger live before the social media age to say... how awesome they were live. This band worked. The crowd was family and on-stage much of the show. They tore the place down. They played everywhere and killed it.

The year is 2001. I wake up early Saturday morning and sneak down into the basement and boot up Gran Turismo 3 on the PS2. I finally have enough credits to buy the Shelby Cobra I’ve been grinding several weeks for. This song comes on as I dust opponents on Super Speedway. Life is good.
