I used to think this song was just catchy as a kid, now than I'm older it almost hits too close to home...

I remember this song from playing Tony Hawk on my older cousin's PS1 as a little kid. I am now old enough that the lyrics are becoming relatable.

I am in my 60s, and I absolutely love this track. For one thing, it's so exciting, and just about perfect in every way. But mostly, I love it because I know that if I first heard "Superman" at 13, I would have felt as if it were speaking directly to me. When we get old, we should never forget what it's like surviving adolescence. It's probably the hardest thing a person can ever do.

I had this song on repeat because of Tony Hawk's Pro-Skater. This and one other were the only songs that were on the Pizza Hut PSX demo disc, so we played it for 2 or 3 days straight without a break. Heard this nonstop, lol. Man, good memories.
