The saddest thing is that Max Juliens real mother had been murdered in Dc a little while before this movie so the feelings he put into this scene was for his real mother
word? can u tell me a little more bout that story cuz Imma be honest Max Julien was a hero well a mad I admired in the 70's. Remember Thomasina and Bushrod with fine ass Vonetta Magee
when I asked to tell me more bout the story, I meant bout Max Julien's mom getting murdered in DC. I know bout him and Vonetta like I said with her pretty self. Yea I know who Carl is, played the father in the Little Richard story among other movies
This scene will make you cry especially when my mom died when I was the tender age of 11 years old, me and my brothers didn't get to see my Mother in our teenage years, my brother Jerome was 13, Dewayne 10 and my baby brother Troy was only 8. But again this part of the movie is a very sad scene.😢😫😩😥😓
Man, this woman should be a Hollywood icon.🤷🏿♂️ It's like she jumped off the set of Imitation of life and came over to the set of The Mack n gave them A list acting.
Pamela, that's the Mother Instrumental Theme from the movie. It's sung by Willie Hutch! If you've never listened to it, meaning The Original Song By Mr. Hutch, it's definitely a MUST LISTEN! It, to me is one of the most beautiful songs about a Mother And Her Love that's ever been recorded! Mr. Hutch, his vocals, the female background vocalists, the violins, harps and other instruments are literally "Heavenly",and I'm not exaggerating... When you have time, listen. It's a really beautiful song.....
Man! I've had this DVD for years and that's going to always be an emotional scene for me to watch, not only because it's so heartwarming at how happy she is to finally see him again, after him being incarcerated for so long, but also because my mother's gone, (Fell Asleep In Death) and I can't look at her and hold and hug and talk to her and love her as he did. I know it's just a movie, but the scene along with the "Momma's Theme" music in the background, brings tears to my eyes thinking about my own Mom! I also have the album soundtrack, and the way Willie Hutch sings Momma's Theme; "That Is One Of The Most Beautiful Songs About A Mother And Her Love That Was Ever Made"!!!!!!! Truely, a work of art. The whole LP for that matter. PRICELESS! For those that have never heard it, take a good listen to it in it's entirety when you have the time. You'll be glad you did, and I'm sure it will make you think of your "Loving Mom Too".....
@@dcaddell1505 That's that pure, decent, ultra sincere love that you give to who's so pure to your heart 1505! I hope both our mothers benefit from the resurrection hope promised in the Scriptures....▪️▪️▪️▪️
I'll never forget how my mother cried when I rode off with my recruiter to be shipped out to the Marines in '90. Your comment evoked a memory as well as an emotion. I miss her dearly. 😔
That's all MoM's ask me to do. Make sure I was always safe and call her to let her know I'm a live. Because when she heard ambulance sirens or police sirens she said it made her nerves bad. And she hope that wasn't me. In retrospect. That was powerful. Think about the depth of that.
😪I can watch him say this to his mother forever.....Aww, look at you, you look so pretty with all that water in your face, I've loved you for a long time lady....Makes me cry every time..So Beautiful❣....Plus Max Julien was fine as hell that smile, those Dimples ☺
Dis scene puts tears in my eyes. After serving over a decade in the state penal system.I still remember my biggest supporter, My Mom.So to see this, and remember all the sacrifices, she endured.Just so I could have..Forces Me to be the best version of myself...Shot Out to all Mother's, of young Urban boys...Caught up in the struggle...We appreciate you...
“I loved you for a long time lady!” I really feel this way about my mama and I think it’s because we grew up togethe! She had me 7/13/84 and turned 15 on 8/6/84
I liked it when the Goldie character tried to steer the neighbir hood kids from a life of crime and do positive things with their lives Even though he might have been a little hypocritical I do understand what he was trying to do Mad props to the Goldie character for keeping the kids from being like him and going in the right direction I salute u Goldie!
A lot of people needs to follow Goldie's example to a certain degree Today u got these so called gangsters out here that don't even care about the kids or nobody else period Hell they don't even care about themselves They don't tell the neighborhood kids not to try to emulate them but instead they go out and try to recruit kids to join their gangs
EB, it's called The Mother's Theme from the Original Soundtrack, "The Mack"! I actually have the Album Soundtrack and the DVD movie... It's sung by Willie Hutch. Man, you've got to listen to it! It's one of the most beautiful songs about A Mother and Her Love that has EVER been sung or written.....
Honestly I wouldn't be a good gangsta or criminal at all I'd be a ' reluctant gangsta' in other words I'd want to be one but my conscience would bother me and tell me that's not the right thing to do and I'd be wrestling with that everyday it would be like getting pulled in two different directions and I might be called a punk if I decide to go the right way
I feel you 100%. I had the opportunity to pimp but morally, I just couldn't see myself doing it. Growing up with my mother and sister, I learned to always respect women. And then later in life, I was blessed with twin daughters 💕 .
Hmm!..... you don't want to be a pimp! Lots of unpleasant situations come with that, when the judge gives you that "big stack" of calendars (years) for human trafficking you'll wish you kept your old job!
In NYC street working is about to legal so dont go there...yo wont make much but now women are pimping so it is not like days of old and if you gotta ask you dont need to do...lol
