I think out of all the mental / funny / and just daft or stupid songs the glc have made, I really do think this one is a true timeless classic The sound, what the songs about, the way you can't help bop your head.. just an absolute classic

The great composer and arranger behind the track sampled here is actually more Jean-Claude Vannier than Serge Gainsbourg. Vannier is also known for his work on "Melody Nelson" which was extensively sampled, by Massive Attack, David Holmes or Beck for instance.

Late to the party here, sure, but whilst Gainsbourg wrote the tune the actual version here is the Jean-Claude Vannier one. You can find it on Spotify - works as a kind of karaoke version. You knows it.
