Fuckin love Timeless, I lived it. Coming from a similar background to Goldie but from a Punk base as soon as I heard DnB I understood it was a logical progression. I still listen to Timeless regularly.

Tic Tac Toe was a masterpiece. Totally different to what had come before it. I miss those days. Total respect for Goldie. The guys at Music Power Reinforced and the original Pulse FM crew. Can't believe that I was part of that scene from starting on Pulse in 91.

First heard Inner City Life, was absolutely mesmerised! Fell in love instantly + bought the cd single immediately, Our Price! Was the soundtrack to my student life + many, many raving + clubbing nites in London's Limelight, The Wag + Turnmills!...golden times, so glad lived through those times - like seeing Beatles for the 1st time...Absolutely 'Timeless!' 🖤💯💀👊🏾💥🔥 Thank u #Goldie! 💗🙏🏾

Funny I never had the album but it did change my outlook on music and that song is just a real sticking point in my memory.

@GOLDIE I gotta say that this Goldie guy, really deserved to get as far as he done, in the British music scene as a driving force, because he had the passion and mad energy to use his fateful connection with Reinforced Records to launch 🚀 his musical journey, and take it in directions that others had not been before..... 💫 And after what seems to be half a life time, he’s still pushing his Millennium Falcon through the Universe in whatever art form he chooses.💯🧐

Read Muzik magazine in the 90s, listened to Inner City Life album and travelled through time listening to it ! So modern and linked to funk grooves and African rythms as well. Felt like 2000 would be a different era ! Later on I travellzd to London and Amsterdam to see Goldie live. Cheers !

I can still remember buying timeless on vinyl in my early teens and it totally changed my taste in music ! Before that it was metal or rap music !!! Then I started getting into stuff on moving shadow ‘ no u turn ‘ prototype ‘ 31 records etc and here I am at 45 and I still buy jungle and drum n bass on vinyl and mix on vinyl!!! Had a go of the modern cdj’s and seratto etc but it just doesn't feel the same and has a slightly to crisp sound for me !!! I am not saying one is better than the other just that the vinyl analogue sound is what I grew up with and what a prefer !!! Metalheadz is still pushing it forward and keeping it true to the og ethos like there new release by dj trace !!!!

Absolutely fascinating hearing you explain how reinforced schooled you. I love the bit here you say “who is this mythical creature” referring to Doc Scott before you’d met him.
