sir I have one a few questions frequently asked to us but I havent recieved plausible explanantions from my mentors 1. why do we see the uniocularly? 2. why is the setting started from 1 (10mmHg)? sir, kindly clear my doubts. thank you

1. Try to see through R side. It is not visible so you can’t see. Binocular vision also not OK. It is simply optics 2. Recording IOP while increasing drum reading is more accurate than decreasing. So we keep initially at 10 because generally pressure would be more than 10. If pressure is very high, say around 40 then you may start from 10. Similarly if reading is likely to be lower than 10 then you should start from lower than the expected IOP
