Always under the impression that the grizzly is located at the front of the sluice. Also what is to prevent the gold washing out if you happen to flip it over? You called it a submersible unit but I never saw it submerged, I work the bottom at 5to 6 ft. deep. Also did not know it was gas engine operated. Need to be electric here where dredging with gas engine is not allowed. Back to the drawing board. You'll get it perfect. Thanks for the presentation.
Great video Rob, wish you could have made it to this year's Gold Rush Days. Jesse and I had a great time with our SGS-2s hope to see you at either the Dayton, Ohio or Nashville, Tnn GPAA Gold & Treasure Shows..Keep up the great work!
Hey do you have any of the original ones for sale. I liked it as a tool to clean up some cracks and drops underwater. I don't want anything to big since I'm in California and the dredge portion would freak out the Forest Ranger.
If I may suggest, any feature your product has should be demonstrated within your pitch. If it can be run without the top, do it. I'm not saying that you in any way misrepresented anything. I'm just saying that any other company would show every possible feature off and demonstrate everything it can do, fully. Then I would inform everyone of it's limitations and other recommendations you have, such as when you pointed out what specs to look for in a pump. Some others might be how long of a hose could be used, and how long can you run between cleanouts. Also power supply needs and tips. If you make a battery pack for a future model, I would be sure to state how long that will run and how long it will take to charge, etc.. I apologize if I missed something in the video and you covered it already. Just trying to help you to help us, thanks. :)
Ive viewed two videos with no gold found. I think you should salt a place with at-least with some lead to test and prove your dredge. Would help my confidence. I really like the idea .
G’day, hey whatever you designed with that multi jet there was a winner for a battery setup and being a straight through low resistance on your other 2” video, can’t find you online so wondering if you could help out a solo back yarder for ya trick there with the jetting? Not into production mate!👍
Thanks Chainbangininc. It's made from polyethylene in a rotational molding process. Same material used to make kayaks etc.. Lightweight but very durable.
Great idea Rob! I've thought about getting the electric model. Maybe in the near future, soon hope you keep building and improving them as you see fit. Keep up the good work!
Great concept but a pain in the ass to use in my opion. River conditions and trying to keep it level while working is the only issue I have . But I do like the concept.
I agree with James Morris on this one. I'm guessing you were on the east branch of Swift river? in the event you haven't been told the only gold on the east branch is 13' down good luck getting there with your dredge. On the other hand Look up a guy over in Mexico, Me. by the name of Cash. as for him at any of the convince stores like Ralph's or Mexico one stop they can give you directions. Show him your dredge and ask him to show you where the gold is. hell he might even want to invest in it if it works as well as you claim it does..
I need replacement clamps for the jet and hose . They both broke on me ! Do you offer them ? I went to the website and you don't even have this dredge on there . Or any replacement parts for that matter .
Bummer. As soon as you said it does NOT come with a pump you lost my interest. Bummer. Looked like a good idea, but i don't want to have to look for the right pump. partial items don't interest me.
