I own a 2015 GTI in a Dark Grey color and I have a great time washing and waxing the car. GTIs are fun cars to drive and fun cars to detail, I love my car! Vermijl you did a fantastic job on the GTI!

Hello Detailers. As a novice, an average guy would judge this car clean at the beginning. But at 9:10 you can easily HEAR the clay glove scrubbs the obstacles away. And this after a good wash and decon with fallout remover. Facinating.

If there was anything stuck to the paint and keeping the paint from popping, there certainly isn’t anything there now. Descale contact wash (2X), iron and tar removal and then hit with the clay mitt. 😂😂😂

Absolutely amazing detail but can we just take a moment to admire the this mans dedication to looking presentable on camera? Hes got on a nice hoodie, skinny jeans, Supreme Nike Air Force 1s and its a solid fit that he's worn in almost every video with some slight changes Every now and then That being said though i can't imagine how uncomfortable it must be to detail in skinny jeans i couldn't myself i only wear sweat pants when i work or detail.

I really enjoy watching your vids and it’s taught me how to Detail to a high standard and I’ve spent a small fortune on gear top gear, question how long do it take you from start to finish? Takes me 7 hours start to finish to a great standard, then the next day it pisses down 🤷🏼‍♂️ but that’s the joys I suppose.. keep it up mate

To be honest, to go so thorough on compound, then polish and to have it sealed with a wax - it's odd to me, in this age. I'd get it if it was a one-step polish, but here... Oh well, clients choice I believe.

@@greyMDA with any off the shelf ceramic poor wash techniques and harsh chemicals won’t save the paintwork. So it won’t make much difference on this car. Now just because you wash your mom’s car on a Sunday doesn’t make you a detailer. You stick to playing with your coffee machines. 🤡

Do you recommend Iron X Snow Soap over P&S Brake Buster for wheel cleaning?

Snow soap is not a cleaner, if anything it’s like a “maintenance” type iron remover so its minor. P&S brake buster is an actual wheel and tire cleaner. I’m sure he used it for lubricant for the gloss black wheels cause also the MWC he used had a built in iron remover.

@@felipin.el.detailer really? P&S isn’t available? Damn, uhh well meguiar’s has a nice wheel and iron remover cleaner so does turtle wax have a really nice wheel and tire cleaner from their hybrid solutions line. Both sold in gallons too. There’s also Gyeon, NV, Koch chemie, shine supply.
