Hey zach - I LOVE your tournament hole guides, and I've used your shootout tutorials every tour since T5 to get those tough holes mastered - as they're the key to winning IMO especially as you get to higher tours and most games wind up a draw. However, as someone new to using the notebook app - I wish you'd do a video that was literally 10 minutes of slowly setting up shots using the grid (not the take shot button) with better explanation of how/why you adjust a certain way. I know from watching all of your videos that you've got different approaches (offset, overadjustment being the main 2) but that isn't helpful for someone trying to master the NOTEBOOK first. that advancement you've made yourself, I think, makes you gloss over the initial setup (not intentionally). I hate to be critical bc you've helped my game a lot, but I'm with the top few commenters of the opinion we need slower explanation and better content about the BASIC use -- turning the screen, using the grid for 8 rings instead of 4, etc... Thanks for all your content.
Hey Zach. These are good demos. However there is nowhere to troubleshoot the app because it will not show up on game when i go and select the wind assist like stated in another video. Please help. Im on a Galaxy S9+
Hey Zach, I'm getting used to this app slowly and I understand the rings and grid line but I get confused when you use more than 5 rings and especially when you use a SOUTH line up instead of North. Can you just show slowly using both ways...I'm sure it would help a lot of people get dialed in. Thanks.

Zachary, you've got 15 different bags available. Are they all for the same inputted clubs. I ask because I have a guest account also with different club levels and would want to use the app for both accounts. Is this possible?
Kinda looks like this takes all the FUN out of playing the game ! Maybe even cheating a bit to me . All this just to remember how much your rings are worth & how to adjust them ? Pretty cool But overkill to me . You guys have fun .
Honestly, this game is about calculating wind adjustments relative to elevation, etc. at the more competitive levels & almost everyone uses a system like rings/mph to make those adjustments. If you're opponents aren't using this or one of the other wind tool apps, they're using spreadsheets to do these same thing... or even a calculator & scratch paper. If you just want to eyeball your shots, that's fine, but I'd say it's almost impossible to do well in masters... or even elite without good wind adjustments. Many of us still like eyeballing, but create multiple accounts so we can play the game anyway we feel at any given time. 🤔 Hmm... why did I defend the app so much? I'm at Professional III and after getting to Tour 6 I started having a really hard time making the proper adjustments for wind. I've checked out the courses that lie ahead by reading the rules and the mph of the wind looks intimidating. This app is an equalizer
@@CJDavis-ij4df Definitely becomes more useful on higher tours. The wind on T8+ starts getting pretty crazy! I'm intentionally staying in elite another few weeks or so because my clubs can't compete yet. Those players with really good clubs know how to use the wind to carry the ball farther, stop it sooner, curl it harder, etc. so I'm going to use every tool available just to keep from going broke lol! Good clubs AND wind control are a prerequisite, imo. Good luck with the app! Now where's my commission?!? 😂
Hey zachery, i purchased the app. For 3.99 and i love it so much. The problem i have is i dropped my tablet and busted the screen. Went and purchased a new tablet and downloaded golf clash and recovered my account. But when i went to install the notebook app. It says to pay 3.99. How can i recover the app. Without purchasing again?
To pay for an app that adds a significant advantage over the 99.9999% of players who don't even know it exists? To add features to a game purposefully designed to leave those features out? To have an invisible (to your opponent) upper-hand in every match? Nah. How could that ever be considered unfair..... And I thought opponents using all these absolutely ridiculous limited-time "super" balls (on tour 6 against my basic ball) was cheating enough....smfh. I'll admit tho, it does feel pretty damn good to beat someone with an extra mile 3 and basic ball, when they have extra mile 8 and a $40 UberXXL KingForce Infinity 5000 ball lmao

@@dyllanblake9635 Then it wasn't meant for you. 🙃 jk... if you use the ring system to adjust for wind (which everyone should do), then this app just helps you calculate the values & lineup your shots better. The 3 tutorials here should clarify, look for the 1st tutorial & start there. 👍
During this video I am using the rings to adjust for my shots. When you see the values I am using on the left hand side on the widget tool its telling me how many rings I need to go for each shot after I input, wind, ball type, club, etc.
Maybe someone else should explain the app. You dont explain it to where dumb people like me can understand. If time is a problem just make an account just for teaching the app. You rush and its hard to understand. Hey you got our money so why put out an updated more in depth video.
