The stress of the timer is key to the wacky fun, imho. Imagine Worms without a timer. You’d have way less unintentional and hilarious self-kills

Thx for the great review! I really love Infinite Minigolf and Worms, so now that Golf with your friends' on sale will get it too... and probably What the golf as well... after watching your review on that one.;o) (Still hoping for a Frontschweine/Hogs of War reboot.^^)

Is there anyway to see what your best score for each course is? Or does it not keep track of this on local play?

I prepurchaded this game for both me and my friend since we loved playing it on pc - if ur looking for maybe more typical minigolf with more variety and a course builder there is also a game called infinite mini golf

@@cordialement4383 its hard to say really - golf with friends is something you can pick up and play abd have a good time where as infinite mini golf has a level editor so it can get crazy - atm though im gonna say golf with friends

I've put so many hours into this on PC and was so excited when they announced it's coming to console though my main worry is this could be ruined on console whether it be online, controls or graphics but it works so well. I got this on game pass and I'm loving it, might try grabbing the switch version as well.

Hahaha. I know it is a strange decision, but the fact that it supports up to 12 players is probably the problem. The Switch does not support 12 controllers at once, so they had to make a choice.

I hate the worms map, I think it’s too much. Bombs push you back to far and the jet packs are just insanely hard to use. I would prefer haunted.

The controls need some improvement and i hate the fact that you can't play this game with other people using splitscreen. You're only allowed to do ''hotseat mode''. Not very Corona-proof and it's stupid when you consider the fact that you can play with others at the same time, but only on PC. Don't buy it unless it has a discount.

Single controller and pass it around? That is a deal breaker for me. Can't believe they do that, I know exactly what code it takes to input from the controllers and it's next to nothing. if you have controller 0 working then adding 1-3 takes next to no effort. So very lazy these devs.

As an indie dev, I believe it was likely for accessibly passing 4 different controllers between 12 people can be quite cumbersome. While passing one controller in much more intuitive for players. I mean picturing the text "Player 9, its your turn! Grab Player 3's controller to began." already gives me a headache. If they wanted local co-op to play up to 12 players it was really their only feasible option.

Please don't call it lazy. They made a decision. The Switch does not support 12 controllers at one time, and they wanted to have 12-player local multiplayer as an option. The only logical way to do that without making things cumbersome is to pass one controller. It may not be the best option for everyone, but it is one they decided on.

@@jcsjapan I'm not talking about 12 players, I'm talking about 2-4. passing a controller back and forth because the devs are too lazy to put 2-3 lines of code in to input from the other controllers is lazy!
