I didn't realize there was so much to Goliad. Very cool. My oldest son will be in TX History next year. We're planning to hit up a lot of these awesome historic sites once he starts to learn about them.
Looks like a great park to visit. You always do such an amazing job of telling the history and information of the places you visit. Wow! There's a lot to see. Have not been there. There's so much to do in Texas, we haven't even scratched the surface lol.
I live here and trust me we always find new spots and hidden gems across the state. You guys do a wonderful job highlighting places across the U.S., I have to check them out!
Oh I love the "Cumbia music" introduced at minute 01:41 😃 it fits so well to the environment! I liked the location. let's me wanna go shoot a movie over there. Beautiful location!
Seminole Canyon an amazing historical site. I love Hueco Tanks in El Paso. Goliad amazing and tons to see. Did a quick stop and had to see what it was all about.
Hello there, I really enjoy watching your videos and I plan on visiting Goliad soon. How much time would you say you spent at the mission and museum at the park?
Hey there, you could spend an easy 4-6 hours at the park if visit all the sites and hike. All the historic sites are near each other. I spent most of my time reading about the history and listening the park ranger. The parks a hidden gem and never crowded. We hope you visit soon 😊
Thanks for the info. I’m planning a trip goliad and lake corpus Christ in march and just trying to figure out how much time to spend there. Do you have the state park passport?
@1978chrisbourg you could probably do both in one day if you have time. I have the state park annual pass. I saved so much $$$ using it over the last few years. How about you?
