The previous night we withstood -11 degrees temps in our tents. The morning starts with a layer of snow around our tents. We all finish our breakfast and start towards Padum where the initial plan was to stay in Purne but time constraints did not let that happen. We drive through the tough terrains on the Zanskar Valley where at places, it almost seemed impossible.
The terrain required extreme usage of brakes and I am immediately reminded of @abhinavbhatt Zanskar vlog that I have been following for sometime while preparing for this trip.
The day ends in Padum and we stay in Padum Paradise, a beautiful homestay, isolated from city hustle bustle.
