A behind the scene look at why Gonathan is rather passive in his own love story, according to Gigi's comments on her BTS stream. Gigi is experienced at text-based role-play, but this collab is her first ever voice-based role-play. While creating her character she was quite nervous and let other members' interactions shape her role quite a bit, most notably Kronii's persistence to be a queen. Her desire to help everyone get comfortable with role-play lined up with her status as the queen's right hand MAN, so Gonathan became the selfless knight that frequently help others while not asking for rewards. A few days later Gigi decided she wants her character to have more personality. Her plan is to keep being a selfless knight until the final moment, when everything he had is given away, to have a sad moment for Gonathan to be more selfish in the next chapter. Ame was not available the day her dungeon was open, so that was a perfect chance for Gigi to kick Gonathan in the feels. Gigi messaged Ame for permission to add reverse amnesia into the plot, and never called her again until the event was over. At day 8 finale, Gonathan became very busy, as past seven days of efforts put him on top of the call sheet whenever someone needs a favor, and Gigi did want to help everyone finish their stories before scheduled final battle against The Stain began. Gigi was still going for her pessimistic arc even after she encountered Ame's character. Both Gigi and Ame logged in the server 3 hours before the final fight, and Gonathan remained an errand boy for 2.5 hours while Ame portrayed a mentally ill character without giving anyone a heads up. When Irys became a villain to drag Gonathan back to his love and Ame enabled her improv, Gigi finally started going for a happy ending... with 30 minutes left and still a few favors to do. Without Ame's insistence, Irys' betrayal, and about half the cast trying to help Ame's situation, we will definitely get a depressing ending as Gigi originally planned...

GG has RP background but she doesnt want to push other with her story so she decide to just play along with other. Thats why she is passive in this story. Ame is the one that push this Happy Ending. Early in the stream, reason why Ame go around and ask about the diamond is to drop hint to GG that she want them to reunite. Also, context on what Ame mean by she suddenly wake up and her hand is bloody is because in last stream, she use her revaltion on herself and she got a piece of her old memories and that memories show that once, a man give her 10 diamond and they married. She then got headache and say she want to get rest. In her sleep, she become obses to know the answer and unconsciously mining diamond until her pickaxe broke, until her hand in blood to find this "diamond". In this story, the reason why Gonathon is soo passive is because he actually wanna move on and let Ame go, but as story progress, Ame drop hint to Gonathon that she want to find him and NTRys is actually the last push of Gonathan selfishness. After NTRys incident, Gonathan seek advice from Big Pink Cat and Big Pink Cat encourage Gonathan to be selfish and suggest him to write a letter to Ame, hence Gonathan write the sequal for her story.. "A Knight's Wish". She then delivered it to Ame as hint that he want her back. We then see gigachad bestwingman Nerissa push both of them to meet at the hotspring for the final moment. Again, majority of the thing that happen on stream is not planned, and GG being a humble knight who is selfless need a lot of hint and push. So its actually lore accurate, Gonathan being passive and why NTRys is crucial in this story. You can watch more clips to understand this story more. So, you didnt get to it yet on Day 6, Ame regained her original memories, which ended up replacing her memories as Jyonathan (pearl). Towards the end of day 6, ame was trying to regain those lost memories of her husband. but all she could remember was that, he gave her diamonds. She was actually looking for the original 10 diamonds Gonathan gave her. She subconciously went mining for diamonds, hoping to find Gonathan. Also, according to Gigi, 99% of the event was improv. the 1% was them messaging behind the scenes to ask if theyre comfortable with where the story is going. even the books Gigi wrote were all on the spot

It was a bit rushed at the end since they had less then 5 minutes untill the final battle on the server. Nerissa best wingman! 😂

It is so complicated for Gonathan that day. Gonathan, h-he just doesn't want to give Ame pressure to remember him. Even, it's hurt for him. So, he let Ame to move-on, and also himself. But.... But, that woman, The Hot Pink One. Trying replace Gonathan place and steal The Pearl. So, Gonathan have to do something. Something, to protect The Pearl. And perhaps, bring back the memory.
