Gondola Ride in The Venetian Las Vegas 

I went on the gondola ride last week when I was in Vegas. That gondola "driver" sounds and looks like the one that "drove" our boat. ^_^

We went on one of those. :) But the sad thing is, we asked them to sing "Funiculi Funicula" and they said they didn't know it... But then we saw the show where everyone comes out dancing and they sang it! :) There was even a little "Pinocchio" in the show running around.

I live in Vegas and we go shopping down here all the time and its weird to imagine other towns and going shopping without any cool shit like this lol

A nice romantic gondola ride is nice, but unfortunately, I can never seem to find anybody that I wouldn't want to push overboard...

I thought the Venetian was cold and uninviting. It was alot cozier and much more friendly down by Bellagio and Paris.The Bellagio fountains have it all over the canals! Merry Christmas Las Vegas!Wish I was there...

I was in Vegas two years ago; I'm Italian and I think the Venetian is quite sad.

I know there was a Venetian Resort just like this one built somewhere in South East China. I saw the show about it on National Geographic.

@jbella2008 Well, I went and I know Venice and Las Vegas, both have their charm, and I agree that history is impossible to replicate Venice, but as a themed attraction, achieving its mission to give remembrance.

@michiel987 Yeah, to go to vegas it's not that expensive, 400-500 per week with flight. The hotels are just so huge that they are able to charge little money for hotel rooms. But what gets somewhat expensive is anything that you want to do in vegas like see shows and things like that.

Its a great stay but very expensive

I love hotels/resorts that have those outdoor street/area look to them. Looks so cool. Why call it "Disneyland Crap" i doubt everyone can afford to travel the world so they have to stick with the next best thing...(even if this place is probably expensive itself)

@mandscat The vision of hell is the dirt in the Grand Canal of Venice, this Grand Canal in Las Vegas is of pure clear and clean wanter, and by the way, the foot is better and cheaper. Also the restaurant on the Eiffel Tower are cleaner, cheper, more luxurious and with infinite better food than what is offer at la Tour Eiffel in Paris.

In the real venice, if we fall to the water, we die! So this is very diferent!

Nothing like the real venice, no doubt ... but it's just a hotel/casino ... it's like a theme park ... for some adult amusement . Nothing wrong with that, it's all about the atmosphere of the hotel !

@michiel987 Vegas has been hurting pretty badly the last couple of years so its definitely more affordable to stay at places like Caesars, Venetian, and Bellagio now. MGM is getting really close to having to file for bankruptcy so you can get a suit there for not all that much.

Why are some of you idiots trying to compare the original with this one? it's a replica, you should be proud they think so highly of it. Some people don't want to fly all the way to italy or don't have the money, so stop comparing, of course nothing will be like the original, that's why this one is a called a replica

Some people do not understand that Vegas is that fantasy .... .... and you can have all the charm of a little cheap and when you want reality he sees and pays a high price in Venice and cover your nose odor and is already ... but the fantasy is to live them, but Disney would not exist

Kalidawn I was a casion dealer at the Venetian for the first 5 years they opened. I can tell you story's if u like, but if you want fantasy I don't have any. only reality so if r interested drop by my inbox peace

in vegas u can experience alot of other places! yer venice is great but in vegas! wow! you have venice, paris, luxor, u can experience king arthur, go visit rome, or take a dip in the mediterranean, you obviously havent got a very good imagination and lack the ability to have fun!! vegas is not all about the gambling(even though it a whole lot of fun wasting your money that way! thats all part and parcel of the vegas experience!)

@jbella2008 sorry, but i don't understand i don't criticize the luna park in venetian style, but i criticize who said that tihs is better .... there is no comparisation... real life is better than fake, we aren't discuss about a gondola rebuilt in a perfect way, but about history, and a way of life! CULTURE! it's not possible to replicate this.... :) jajajaja ... i see your video in dubai... what do you think about this place, so distant from his culture?!
