Very cool!!! How wonderful that you two are getting to do this together! I drove myself and my friend up and down Mt.Hotham, here in Victoria Australia. SCARY!!! NEVER again!!! I was nervous watching you guys drive around those corners too! and it bought back memories. LOVED that enormous cactus. On Monday I was in Sydney at the Natural History Museum. In the gift shop it had gorgeous gem stones, rocks etc. I missed out on buying this stunning rose pink quartz tower with mineral deposits...I will always regret that. But I did buy a Temora greenstone rock from NSW Australia. I reminds me of Uluru when it had cascading rainfalls. Beautiful.
OMG. I haven't been to Tucson since 1975 (gram lived there) but now I really really miss it I must go n I love the gem shows beautiful scenery you both are so awesome to watch❤❤❤❤
Hi Sonia, my husband and I own a RV. Just curious…..have you managed to learn the “camper shower” yet? Turning the water on and off during the shower so you don’t run out of hot water? I wondered if that was why you went to the shower house at the campground? Our current RV has a tankless water heater so we never run out of hot water. But I can remember our first camper and taking those “quick” showers. RV’s are so fun; but you have to learn all the tips and tricks to make it more enjoyable.
no wayyyyy!!!!! yes Globe to Show Low is the road we are on! i’ve never been on anything like it! can’t imagine it with any snow. i’d pull over and never leave again till spring🥵😬
@junkmonkeysonia there are small water falls down the rocks in that canyon and sometimes they freeze when it snows. It's truly beautiful. I didn't mind having to go up or down the mountain, always a stunning drive. Be careful tho, accidents are deadly on there.
