The day I finally got up the nerve to leave my long-time live-in abusive boyfriend and move back to my hometown I blasted this song over and over again !!!!! Man, what a relase and sense of relief!
Saw these guys live some years ago. They knew how to get the job done on stage. Along with AC/DC, One of the best shows I ever saw live. You will be so missed T-Roy !!!!
Best show was the CD release concert for this CD live in the parking lot of Lexington Green in Lexington, Ky...their hometown. Free show, rowdy crowd and very loud. 10,000 of the best fans!!! This was the first song...GREAT!!!
They made no excuses for who they were, or where they came from. Which only added to their appeal & popularity. Just two good ole boys having a lot of fun on a stage. R.I.P. T-Roy
This was the opening song at the free album release concert at Lexington Green Mall for this album. I will never forget it. How many bands do a full show free concert? Not many. So heartbroken and sad and in disbelief. RIP TRoy.
These boys could rock the house. Even the hard core Rock And Rollers would love this, me included. I sure hated to hear about the loss of Troy Gentry, RIP my man.
I love what Eddie Montgomery is wearing. He's dressed like a badass outlaw from the old west and what's also cool is these boys are singing a badass song. It kicks ass! And the way they performed it kicks ass. Of all their hits, this one's my favorite! RIP Troy. You're gone but NEVER forgotten.
Em two are my favorite country music artist. Met em and they are down to earth folks. Em two need to play in Texas more often. Love em!! (Tips cowboy hat)
I'm not a country fan per se. Some I like, most ehhhhh...this is an awesome song not just the lyrics and music, but the enthusiasm. GREAT SONG and BAND.
They're both gorgeous, fun, exciting, hugely talented, and put on a helluva performance. I wish Troy was still here and I could see him and Eddie performing their sensational stage show.
Rip Troy That Plane Crash Should Have Never Happened If It Didn’t Happen Then Troy Gentry Would Still Be Here. Miss Him Very Much Should Have Went And Seen Them Live When Troy Was Still Alive. I Mean I Guess I Could Go And See Eddie Montgomery Of Montgomery Gentry.
T-ROY YOU ARE SOOOO MISSED BY TIS FAN HERE. I CRYED THE DAY I HURD WHEN YOU DIED. YOU ARE THE MAN OF ALL TIMES. THEN , NOW , AN FOREVER MORE. LOVE YOU T-ROY. REST IN PEACE T-ROY. YOUR ALWAYS IN MY HEART.
Mongtomery Gernty will not be the same without T Roy Gentry & he not be forgotten about & he is in my heart & i will be praying for his friend Eddie & Jennifer Montgomery & Angie Gentry R. I.P.
Mongtomery Gernty is a great country band & i love T Roy Gentry as country singer & i also love Eddie Montgomery as my other favorite country singer & they are kind like brothers
Gone like a freight train, Gone like yesterday, Gone like a soldier in a civil war. BANG BANG! Gone like a 59 Cadilac. Like all the good things that ain't never comin back. Those words I remember really good cuz its on my Country Rock Band game and I play this song all time
This ain't no temporary, typical, tearful good-bye, uh uh uh This ain't no breakin' up and wakin' up and makin' up one more time, uh uh uh This is gone (gone) gone (gone) gone (gone) gone Gone like a freight-train, gone like yesterday Gone like a soldier in the civil war, bang bang Gone like a '59 Cadillac Like all the good things that ain't never coming back She's gone (gone) gone (gone) gone (gone) gone, she's gone
