Thank You for tell us about the eyes, they are really important to us not just for acting, but I believe in real life too. I was told by an Uncle of mine who is a TV Producer that I have to be myself and express a lot of emotions if I want to become an Actor, I think understand on what he meant a little bit. And your advices just helped me take a step closer to one of my goals. I will keep on learning from you. You are great at Acting. 😯😀👍🎭
@@TheActorsAcademyNow I know what cost me a place in the Drama course for WITS University in Johannesburg 3 years ago as after this I watched my self tapes again for my online audition and remembered my in person audition with an unbiased fresh look and my eyes in both auditions were not there I caught the deer in the headlights disease on both auditions I performed very well from what the rejection letter said but I can tell the disappointment in that letter from them as they expected a lot more than that performance from me my eyes were not engaged and not showing the true emotions and that cost me a chance to study at the second most successful University in South Africa in a lot of things one of them being and especially Acting they are second only to the University Of Cape Town in SA Thanks for helping me realize my mistakes bro hopefully I'm gonna be accepted into another drama school next year

If you're right for the role you'll get it. Be open in the audition and show a willingness to do things differently. Don't be afraid to be vulnerable, it adds to a performance.
I need some guidelines🙏 ,I aspire to be an actor but am not in any acting school I study and practice my acting at home. Now my question; for an emotional scene that requires the character to be sad or crying. Do I necessary need to cry to show am being angry or sad?
