Good and Bad Quail Habitat 

Following up on the conversation around Mississippi's quail population in our previous video, in this video, Small Game Coordinator Rick Hamrick takes a deeper look at good vs bad quail habitat.
In addition to the things discussed in this video, MDWFP also works on public and private lands to promote management for bobwhite quail. Part of this effort includes working with organizations like the National Bobwhite & Grassland Initiative (NBGI).
