Hey friends... I'm back with a personal art challenge results video! There's plenty of 'what was I thinking' in this video, but I do think that as the month progressed I got better at using the Kuretake Art Nouveau set... which makes me think that I need to be more strategic with my planning each month.
More on that in another video, but I hope you enjoy this one and can take something away from it for your art journey!

Oh, it's definitely a great way to hold yourself accountable in using them! But the best thing is that through forcing myself to use them, I am really learning about what I like and don't like to use, as well as different ways to combine various materials. Really fun!

That painting with the house and palms... it reminded me a hotel I saw in South America some time ago. Same architecture and style. Lovely to see your stuff! :3

Hi Evie! Thanks for your video! I love your buildings best but I actually love all you do!🎉 The first WC that I ever bought for myself like 4 years ago was the full Kuretake set. I've always loved it. I have the Art Nouveau set too and I love those colors. I have like 2 or 3 tubes of DS and a 60 set of Arteza. I'm like a cheap date 😂 but I just use what I have and have made some nice art with it. But if I was gifted a bunch of DS I'd sure greatly love and appreciate it.😊 I just can't afford to really good stuff. Ok I hope you can get some rest!! Much love- Susan from AZ🥰🤗🏜️

I’ve used watercolor for many years. I’ve struggled with the kuretake set. The dark colors are overpowering and they are harder to layer. I probably need to play with it more. But I’m kicking myself for insisting on getting it. 😂

Ha ha, good to know I am not the only person to struggle with it. I left it back in the UK in May but I fully intent to pick it back up in September and have another crack at it! 😍
