Good points. I also don't believe in taking debts on a personal level. Generally I avoid high debt companies unless fundamentals are good and it's leading to increased revenues.
Very good analysis with good examples. When a company with a huge debt is reducing its debt like Tata Motors, it's good for investment and vice versa...

Yes sir I consider debt to equity ratio before investing because it play a major role in the growth of compony . If compony is growing very well but it's all profit went to pay high debt it doesn't make sense to invest in that compony.
Brother i must refer the debt to equity of the business.. But Because of trust in TATA.. I am holding Tata motors... Ratan TATA Never break Trust.. What's your point📍?
I see growth and profit numbers the most....more profits means more cash flows which results in high interest coverage ratio....so debt is definitely a factor but Business model and profit growth is the key...you can not generate 20-25% CAGR with TCS or Infosys which has zero debt...but you can surely generate 40-45% CAGR with companies like Deepak nitrite or alkyl amines which has debt but exceptional growth potential and profitability...
Debt is a very good tool to screen and remove companies from our watchlist. Infact I have personally invested only in companies with D/E ratio less than 1

we need to pay tax of 15% sooo it mean Capital gain tax. Pls pls clarify . I am new to stock market Recently i sold my equity holdings (200 volumes of RIL) I bought at 1810 and sold at 2210 rs. Probably less than 2 months. But for me , as per usual procedure they deducted (0.5% brokerege , stamp charge, GST etc both at the time of buying and selling) but i am not sure about Capital gain tax
