I like that Ed's sudden display of cunning here in destroying a rival business makes it more believable that he'll eventually own Good Burger in the sequel He might not have book smarts but he clearly knows the game

Two things I loved about this was Mr. Wheat's total obliviousness to what's happening around him when he pulled up to the lot, and Ed's genius plan to foil Mondo Burger in vivid detail

When I got older, i always wondered how the hell can exploding burger patties in the kitchen can cause the whole building to fall apart like that? So u are telling me that the goddamn building isnt built up to code? Haha
Actually, I could see those nimrods cutting corners to keep costs down, the burger and fries on the roof were a prime example of a safety hazard as demonstrated by the burger totaling the teacher’s car from falling on it. And Kurt had already demonstrated that he wasn’t above breaking health regulations and laws through illegal detainment and imprisonment, so making sure that his building wasn’t up to code might not have been his highest priority.
This came across the my feed kind of randomly. I hadn't seen this movie in a long time but now that I remember some things about it...Kurt is looking at like 1,000,000 years in prison. He kidnapped 3 people, two of whom are minors, for being witnesses to him using, as he says "WAY ILLEGAL" food additives and poisons in his and his competitor's food. Kidnapping and attempted murder only until everyone who ate a Mondo Burger starts getting cancer. So whatever is left of his business is now facing an enormous class action lawsuit as well.
