There are some references from SpongeBob's Krusty Krab training video including... 1. "Let me be the first to say... CONGRADULATIONS!" 2. The secret recipe for Ed's sauce being a replica of the secret formula. 3. "D.U.D.E." representing "P.O.O.P." Now, can I make a krabby patty? No.

Same. I love Good Burger, but the only thing most of these "30 years later sequels" ever seem to do is deconstruct or devalue the originals. Hopefully, Good Burger 2 manages to not mess it up since the original duo are still the stars.

Doesn’t matter if it’s 26 years or a lifetime, if you ever scratch a paint job or pass the white line by an inch, then prepare for lawyers to chase you more than ambulances and every passenger you’ll ever have to hold that grab handle for dear life every time.
Now I think that this sequel would be better with more characters from the first movie, like Monique, Deedee, Fizz, or Roxanne. Otis is dead now, so that’s a bummer. If it doesn’t work out, then they might have to redo the sequel. The positives are that Ed and Dexter are in the sequel, the Burger Mobile has a new look, and the version of We’re All Dudes. Also, good training video.
Shar Jackson (Monique), Josh Server (Fizz), and Carmen Electra (Roxanne) are reprising their roles in this sequel. Ginny Schreiber (Deedee) hasn't had a movie role since 2003. Lori Beth Denberg is reprising her role as Connie Muldoon. Many in the acting industry came forward about Dan Schneider's (Mr. Baily) behavior, so I highly doubt he'll be rehired. Ron Lester (Spatch) passed away in 2016.

@@spongebobsquarepants6096 I'm guessing Linda Cardellini (Heather) was either too expensive or had another project. She landed a lot of roles, such as Velma Dinkley in Scooby-Doo, after Good Burger. Shaq was likely either too busy or expensive. The actor, Ron Lester, who played Spatch died of liver and kidney failure in 2016. Out of respect for him, they didn't recast Spatch.
