This is a very heartbreaking scene. I was very sad when gizmo said goodbye to Billy since the latter grew attached to Gizmo. We can all take pride in knowing that they'll see each other again in Gremlins 2.
True but what about Gremlins 2, where they are reunited and remember what Mr. Wing said to Billy and that is mogwai will be waiting when you are ready.
Because it's about being responsible and Billy couldn't. He lost the chance to have Gizmo because he didn't follow directions that were pretty simple. It just goes with life. Ignorant person does something so fucking dumb and loses the chance to have perfection. It's a pretty clear message.
I remember seeing this in school ... And when i cried not loudly but silently as in sitting there with tears rolling down my cheeks and a sad expression
Little later: Gizmo: Bye bye woof woof! Barney (loosely translated): Bye little buddy (I know he never completely trust Gizmo but I think he still sort of liked him, they touched noses and he licked Gizmo's ear, plus neither of them liked the new meaner mogwai)
As much as he loves his 'Baba' (Mr Wing), Gizmo wants to stay with Billy and he likes Randall and Barney/'Woof Woof'. But he knows it's too dangerous and that if he stays with 'Baba' then another outbreak won't happen.
he knows it's best that he goes back with 'Baba', because he knows how dangerous his existence is and that Mr Wing can take care of him better so that 'accidents' don't happen again, but he still wants to stay with Billy.
0:06 Pretty cure and ARK. Like rex walk to vortex when Hugtan was gonna miss him but he turned around has one thing to say to her. Rex: bye Hugtan Hugtan: bye rex And he roar when he walk in the vortex
Me watching titanic with my sister My sister dang why aren’t you crying Me I’m stronger than that Us watching gremlins Me weeping My sister why are you crying here Me you wouldn’t understand
Do you hear that? Yes, that. That's the sound of a million people's hearts shattering into pieces. Makes me glad I'm not one of them. I like Gizmo, but I'll leave it at that.
