it was indeed sad to see that hardly 25 people were there at her funeral and none of the T.V artists except shauqat ali took the pains of attending her buriel. her last rites on earth were performed by her close relatives only.
Thank you so much for this. I love this version, and I've been looking for the audio of this particular recording for a while now - her voice is so young and vibrant here! I have versions of the song from when she was much older. Do you know of any way I can find this particular audio track, or do you have it separately (this session) and could you share it somehow. Thanks so much!
A beautiful voice and amazing performance. But is anyone able to provide a translation for people, who like me, do not have the good fortune to understand the language?
thank you so much for posting this clip and such beautiful translations..it brings tears to my eyes every time i hear it... may i ask which year was this footage recorded?
@kazbel Through the sands of my solitude, O love, tremor the shadows of your voice; The waning vision of your lips. In the waste of my solitude And beneath the dust and ashes of separation, Blossom the jasmines and roses of your touch. Rises from somewhere near, The undulating flame of your breath- Coiling and restless; It cinders in its own perfume slowly Still alight. In the distance upon the horizon glistens, drop by leaden drop, the silken dew of your glance, O love, as it falls.
@kazbel With such affection, O love! Your memory has placed its hand on the countenance of my heart now; It seems that- And though we are beset with the dawn of parting, the day of migration has faded, and the night of our union has arrived!
